Look, if you base your entire existence on other people's opinions, if you gossip excessively and listen to gossip, if you are constantly focused on other people's mistakes, if you are skilled at criticizing others, if you are constantly envious of other people's advancements, if you find it difficult to give others a pat on the back, if you are so bitter and self-centered when you are asked to pray for others, you will never be able to get connected with brilliant minds, collaborate with great individuals, and stay open to amazing opportunities and visions that will change your life.
Why not make a conscious effort to better yourself so that you can contribute and fit into any opportunity or vision, and stand out for excellence?
Whether you are at a religious gathering, a social gathering, a business, or a workplace, remember that no one you call a friend or colleague wants you to be better than them. Everyone wants to make a difference and be recognized. Take it or leave it.
At some point, even that new so-called friend you just made or coworker is observing and jealous of your role and abilities in that workplace. Learn to avoid talking too much to coworkers or so-called friends at work. Concentrate on your work and don't let anyone know too much about how you achieve results within your department before they undermine your efforts, blackmail you from your office, and take control. That's not to say you shouldn't engage with or associate with your coworkers or fellow members; rather, apply your wisdom, concentrate on what has brought you there, and change things for good. Remember, your gossip or cheap talk are not always safe with your colleagues. Be wise!
The moment you allow yourself to be brainwashed, hypnotized and used as a scapegoat for someone else's bad behavior that you have no knowledge of by recruiting you to fight or hate those who can help you improve, you are doomed to fail. Be sensible! Stop being dragged into their problems and let them go and resolve it.
When an opportunity presents itself, grab it, be opened to learn and remain focused. Contribute your best and have the patience to see the good seed you sowed grow into a bountiful harvest. Don't be in a hurry. Keep a positive attitude and stay dedicated to process and advancement. Along the way, you will celebrate and smile.
This post aims to educate those who continue to make similar mistakes in their workplace or social gatherings. Mind your business, avoid unnecessary conversations that can be used against you. Never you talk bad about your boss or superior officer with your colleague. Do your work and then return home. And if you have any issue with a colleague, boss or any superior officer wherever you are, be humble and mature enough to meet with them and resolve the issue. Stop recruiting and dragging innocent people into your mess. If you want to fall, do it alone. And if you want to go, go alone with your pride and let others do their work, and have a better life.
Many people have lost jobs and opportunities due to this emotional carelessness and irresponsibility, and are still suffering today.
