tration number 556635. The Constitution is binding on all members but subject to the provision of the Shari’ah. The Association temporary office is at No 23, Ahmed Buruku Road, Kinkinau GRA, Unguwan Muazu, kaduna State. Arrangement is on for the foundation to get a permanent office

Proactively improve the knowledge, literacy and self reliance of the Almajiri. As our vision became cleared, ATF extend its activity to include children of Islamiyya schools, the Almajiri Maalams, parents and underprivileged in every state of Nigeria. THEMATIC AREA

AIMS AND OBJECTIVE
Improving education and literacy through provision of basic reading and writing skill
Reduce destitution and encourage self reliance through vocational skill training. Expand the Tsangaya curriculum to include other aspect of Islamic teachings. Improve the general welfare of the Almajiri via provision of basic amenities. Sponsor bills that will protect the right and dignity of the Almajiri. Liaise with the government to provide basic amenities in rural area so as to discourage migration of under age children to urban areas

Almajiri Tsangaya foundation facebook group is for online meetings and discussion forum for Almajir related issue. This is to help surmount the difficulty that may hinder some members from attending regular face to face meetings due to the constrains of distance, time, finance, work or school . Below is an outline of the Dos and Donts for smooth and effective running of the group
DOs AND DONTs
1.This group is strictly for meetings and discussions for the Almajiri project. Unrelated posts should continue at the Authentic Islam group.
2.Every member is expected to be committed by attending all facebook meetings if possible.
3. Every member is at liberty to post and comment on Almajiri related issue. Anyone who does not have anything to say should simply click on the like button to enable us track commitment and attendance of meetings and discussions.
4. Every member should Endeavour to go through the posts created in the documents above for background knowledge of Almajiranci over the course of time.
5. Every member should be an advocate for this group and it project by creating awareness in his or her environment.
6. There should be no indiscriminate adding of people to the group, anyone who is interested in becoming a member should simple click on the request button of the facebook group “ALMAJIRI TSANGAYA FOUNDATION” and he or she will be added by any of the admin of the group. This is to ensure that only interested members join the group.
7.We are mostly form different backgrounds with differences in ideas and opinion, we are there bound to disagree sometime but this should not result in divisive argument or condescending criticism. Argument will only generate antagonism and may weaken and wane our resolve and interest. Criticism should be constructive and corrective in the most polite manner and should be accepted with an open mindedness devoid of hard feelings or dogmatic defense.
