*CONSTITUTION OF THE ZONAL CONGRESS & INAUGURATION ORGANIZING COMMITTEE*

The NAHIMS Northwest Zonal Coordinator is pleased to officially announce the constitution of the *Zonal Congress & Inauguration Organizing Committee for the forthcoming NAHIMS Northwest Zonal Congress and Inauguration, scheduled to take place in October 2026 in Kano State.*

The committee has been constituted to coordinate the planning, preparation, logistics, communication, and overall organization of the event, with the aim of ensuring a successful, orderly, and memorable Zonal Congress and Inauguration.

*MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE*

The selected members are expected to work collectively and diligently towards delivering a well-coordinated event that reflects the unity, vision, and aspirations of NAHIMS Northwest Zone.

The Zonal Coordinator calls on all chapters, members, and stakeholders across the Northwest Zone to extend their cooperation and support to the committee throughout the planning process.

This event is not merely a gathering; it is an important step towards strengthening unity, leadership, collaboration, and the advancement of Health Information Management students across the Northwest Zone.

We look forward to a successful Congress and Inauguration, In Shaa Allah.

To the entire NAHIMS family, distinguished leaders, comrades, mentors, colleagues, friends, and everyone who has been part of my journey,

I write today with a heart full of gratitude as I humbly receive the Star Comrade of NAHIMS Award. This recognition is deeply meaningful to me, and I sincerely thank everyone who found me worthy of such an honour.

This award is not mine alone. It belongs to every person who believed in me, encouraged me, stood by me, prayed for me, challenged me to become better, and supported my commitment to serving our great association. Your confidence in me has been one of my greatest sources of strength.

Receiving this recognition is both a privilege and a reminder that leadership is about service, sacrifice, integrity, and impact. It inspires me to remain committed to the ideals of NAHIMS and to continue working tirelessly for the progress of our association and the advancement of every Health Information Management student across Nigeria.

I pray that Almighty Allah grants me greater wisdom, humility, strength, and sincerity to live up to the confidence reposed in me. May He guide my steps, increase my capacity to serve, and help me remain a worthy ambassador of our profession and our association.

Congratulations Mr Chairman
A HEARTFELT APPRECIATION

With a heart filled with immense gratitude and humility, I sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed, in one way or another, to my appointment as the NAHIMS Northwest Zonal President.

I am deeply honoured and grateful for the confidence reposed in me. This appointment is not merely a position; it is a responsibility, a call to service, and a renewed commitment to the progress and unity of NAHIMS across the Northwest Zone.

To the leaders, comrades, delegates, friends, colleagues, mentors, and every member of our great association who believed in my capacity to serve, I say a very big THANK YOU. Your encouragement, prayers, trust, advice, and support throughout this journey have been invaluable.

I do not take this responsibility for granted. I understand the expectations that come with this office, and I am fully aware that leadership is not about the title we carry, but about the people we serve and the positive impact we create.

As I assume this responsibility, I pray that Almighty Allah grants me the wisdom to lead, the strength to serve, the courage to make the right decisions, and the humility to always put the collective interest of NAHIMS above personal interests.

My commitment is to promote unity, inclusiveness, effective communication, academic and professional development, students' welfare, collaboration among chapters, and meaningful representation across the Northwest Zone.

I believe that no leader can achieve meaningful progress alone. Therefore, I humbly seek the cooperation, constructive criticism, prayers, and support of every chapter, leader, and member within the zone. Together, we can build a Northwest Zone that is united, vibrant, progressive, and worthy of the confidence placed in us.
