Let me say what many people are afraid to say.
Our communities does not just have a security problem.
We have a silence problem.
And the silence is killing the confidence of our girls.
We organize conferences.
We hold meetings.
We make speeches about development.
But somewhere in a small room, a 13-year-old girl is crying because she stained her uniform and had to go home in shame.
Somewhere, a 16-year-old is battling depression but is told, “You’re too young to be stressed.”
Somewhere, a brilliant girl has already reduced her dreams because society told her not to “do too much.”
And we call ourselves leaders.
We call ourselves mentors.
We call ourselves a progressive society.
If we are honest, many of our girls are not failing.
They are unsupported.
Let’s stop decorating neglect with fine English.
A girl who lacks sanitary pads is not just lacking hygiene , she is being denied dignity.
A girl who has no one speaking into her self-worth is not just quiet , she is slowly disappearing.
A girl who grows up unheard does not suddenly become a confident woman.
Broken girls grow into broken systems.
This is why the Florence Nerat Project (FNP) is not just another “NGO idea.”
It is a response to a responsibility.
“From POTENTIAL TO PURPOSE” is not a slogan.
It is a demand.
We will distribute sanitary pads because no girl should choose between education and dignity.
We will talk about mental health because silence is dangerous.
We will teach self-worth because confidence is protection.
And let me say this clearly:
If you claim to love the community...
If you claim to support women…
If you claim to care about the future…
Then show it where it matters , at the foundation.
Not when the girl becomes successful.
Not when she trends.
Not when cameras are present.
But now.
Support the mission.
Sponsor a girl.
Partner with us.
Be accountable.
Because in a few years, these same girls will either thank us…
Or they will inherit the consequences of our indifference.
I have chosen to act.
Will you?????.
Support the Girl Child.
