HOPE BUILT IS A LIFE ASSURED

Hope is more than a feeling; it is a life-giving virtue that gives us the courage to keep going until the desired destination is reached.

At Hope Builders Camp 2026, we witnessed something beautiful.

In just a few days, we saw children and young people move from a place of little or diminished hope to a place of renewed hope, confidence and expectation.

Our desire is that the hope built within them at camp will not end when camp ends.

As they return to school, family and everyday life, we see them thriving, excelling, discovering their potential and becoming better versions of themselves.

We believe that when hope is restored, possibilities become visible again.

When hope is strengthened, a child can face tomorrow with courage.

When hope is built, life becomes worth pursuing.

That is why we say:

HOPE BUILT IS A LIFE ASSURED.

We are grateful for every parent, caregiver, volunteer, partner and supporter who helped us build hope in these precious lives.

🌟 WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER — OUR MONTH OF GODLY INFLUENCE & AFFLUENCE! 🌟

On behalf of the entire MindScope Center for Development and Transformation Initiative (MCDTI) Team, we warmly welcome our partners, volunteers, friends, families, supporters, and everyone connected to the MCDTI family into the beautiful month of September! ❤️

We are deeply grateful to God for bringing us this far, and especially for the success of Hope Builders Camp 2026. Thank you for every prayer, contribution, sacrifice, encouragement, volunteer service, partnership, and act of kindness that made the transformation of these children possible.

You are part of the story! 🙏

As we step into September, we pray that God will increase His grace upon you and your household. May He enlarge your influence, establish the works of your hands, open doors of opportunity, and cause you to prosper in ways that bring glory to His name.

May you become a greater influence for good, a vessel of transformation, and a blessing to your generation.

❤️ THE BEST WAY TO PROVE LOVE TO A CHILD IS TO SHOW THEM THAT THEY MATTER.

Today at Hope Builders Camp 2026, we took the children on a short train ride adventure—and it was simply beautiful! 🚂🎉

There was laughter, excitement, new experiences, and plenty of fun. But beyond the train ride, we were reminded of something much deeper: every child deserves to feel seen, valued, loved, and remembered.

Sometimes, it costs very little to put a smile on a child’s face. What may seem ordinary to us can become a beautiful memory that a child carries for years.

I’ll be sharing more pictures and some of the children’s individual testimonies from today’s experience soon. ❤️

For now, let me simply say:

Children matter. Their smiles matter. Their experiences matter. Their future matters.

HOPE BUILDERS CAMP 2026 — DAY 8

“I Was Created With a Purpose, For a Purpose.”

Today, our children explored one of life's biggest questions:

“Why am I here?”

We learned that purpose is not the same as a career. A career is what you may do; purpose is the difference your life is designed to make.

We discovered some practical pathways to purpose:

🙏 Discover God — The One who created you already knows why He created you.

💡 Discover your gifts — Pay attention to what comes naturally to you.

❤️ Discover your burdens — What problems deeply move your heart?

🪞 Discover your identity — Know who you are beyond your background, mistakes or circumstances.

📚 Develop yourself — Education, learning, mentoring and experience prepare you for your assignment.

🤝 Serve others — Purpose becomes clearer when we begin using our gifts to make a difference.

🎯 Take responsibility — Nobody can fulfil your purpose for you.

Like David, who discovered courage, developed his skills and stepped forward when others were afraid, our children are learning that their story can become part of their assignment.

📖 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works…” — Ephesians 2:10

At Hope Builders Camp, we are not just helping children dream about their future. We are helping them discover who they are, why they are here, and how they can become a blessing to their world.

Week One at Hope Builders Camp 2026 — A Glorious Beginning

Week One of Hope Builders Camp 2026 has been glorious!

We are deeply grateful to God for the transformation processes that have already begun in the lives of these children. They are becoming!

Already, we are seeing meaningful shifts.
Some children who previously struggled to make friends are now connecting, building relationships, and enjoying the community around them.

Some who described themselves as shy and unable to speak publicly are beginning to find their voices. They are expressing themselves, speaking up, and discovering the confidence within them.

Even more beautiful are the spiritual transformations. Several children have shared how they are becoming more comfortable opening the Bible—not merely reading it, but reflecting on God's Word and becoming more attentive to the thoughts and convictions God places within their hearts.
And then came a testimony that particularly touched us.

A parent called to say “Thank you.”
His daughter had previously struggled to say, “I forgive you.” She was known to hold on to offences, especially with her siblings. But during this camp, something began to change.
After an incident with her siblings, she was able to say, “I forgive you.”
That may sound like a simple sentence, but for us, it represents something much bigger:
A heart is changing.
A mind is being renewed.
A character is being formed.
A future is being transformed.
To God alone be all the glory!

And this is only Week One.
We are excited about what God will continue to do in Week Two of Hope Builders Camp 2026.
The journey continues. The children are learning, growing, connecting, discovering, and becoming.

🌟 DAY 2 @ HOPE BUILDERS CAMP 2026

Today’s theme was “I Am Not an Accident: God Knows My Name!”

Through the inspiring story of Jerry, an orphan from the Philippines, and the message behind Tommy Walker’s “I Have a Maker,” our children were reminded that they are known, valued, and created with purpose.

They are learning, unlearning, and relearning—discovering God, exploring their purpose, and growing in confidence. 🌱

We are preparing them not just for today, but to discover who they are, understand why they are here, and take their places in the world. 🌍

Day 2 of 21 — the journey continues! 🚀

To God be all the glory! 🙏
