The Unique Centre for Peacebuilding and Trauma Healing (UCPTH) convened a Resolution Meeting Under the Tree that created a safe and inclusive space for community members to engage openly on drugs, trauma, and daily living. Through guided dialogue and shared reflections, participants explored the links between substance abuse, lived trauma, and everyday challenges affecting families and youth.
Community members actively participated, expressed appreciation for the initiative, and shared testimonies highlighting increased awareness, emotional relief, and renewed commitment to healthier choices and peaceful coexistence. The strong community response underscored both the relevance and impact of grassroots, culturally responsive approaches to peacebuilding and trauma healing.
This activity demonstrates the effectiveness of community-led dialogue platforms in strengthening resilience, restoring trust, and fostering sustainable social cohesion. The Under the Tree Series continues to serve as a scalable model for community-based intervention and long-term impact.
