After carefully reviewing the results from the written stage of the Pankshin North Inter-Primary School STEM Quiz Competition, we are excited to officially announce the schools advancing to the next round.

Going through the scores of all 28 participating schools was truly a heart-warming experience for us at Gdef NG and Amincii Foundation .

Beyond selecting qualifiers, what encouraged us most was seeing the remarkable growth reflected in the cumulative performance of many schools. Year after year, we continue to witness improvement in confidence, preparation, and academic engagement among pupils, and that, for us, is a major victory.

While we would have loved to see every school progress, the competition requires that only 10 selected schools move on to the next stage. Two public schools recorded the same score at the 5th position, and the organizing team decided to give both schools equal opportunity to participate in the next round.

Congratulations to all qualifying schools! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

To every participating school, teacher, and pupil, thank you for your effort, courage, and dedication. Your participation already reflects a commitment to learning and growth.

We look forward to welcoming the qualified schools on 22nd May 2026 for the next exciting stage of the competition.

Best of luck to all participating schools!

Yesterday, the 15th of May 2026, we successfully hosted the first round of the Pankshin North Inter-Primary School STEM Quiz Competition at the Zonal Directorate Office Hall.

It was truly heartwarming to see teachers and pupils from across Pankshin North arrive prepared, confident, and ready to give their very best in the pursuit of qualification to the next stage of the competition.

A total of 28 schools participated:
🏫 19 Private Schools
🏫 9 Public Schools

At the end of this round, only 10 schools will advance to the next stage of the competition.

The written examination phase was successfully concluded, with results scheduled to be announced by Monday next week.

Beyond the competition itself, what inspires us most is the exposure, confidence, critical thinking, and learning experience these young pupils are gaining through this initiative.

At GDEF and Amincii Foundation , we believe the seeds being planted today through STEM education, healthy academic competition, and student engagement will go a long way in shaping future innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders.

We eagerly look forward to announcing the schools progressing to the next round. 🌟

Still reminiscing on the lessons from the Pankshin South Inter-Primary School STEM Quiz Competition, one thing that deeply stood out to us was the genuine interest and commitment of the teachers throughout the entire process. πŸ’™

During the oral rounds, it was inspiring to watch many teachers quietly solving the questions on their rough sheets while others carefully observed the patterns and areas covered.

Then came a remarkable moment.

The quiz master intentionally mentioned a wrong answer as correct, and almost immediately, some teachers respectfully and politely objected.

At that moment, we realized they were not just present, they were fully engaged.

For us at GDEF, that single moment reflected everything our CORE VALUES represent:

🀝 Synergy – working together toward a shared goal

πŸ’™ Trust – believing in the integrity of the process

πŸ™ Respect – correcting with humility and professionalism

πŸ“š Education – the very reason we gathered

❀️ Empathy – feeling invested because they genuinely cared

πŸ” Transparency – ensuring fairness for every participant

Beyond the competition, what we witnessed was a community of educators passionate about learning, growth, and the future of their pupils.

Sustainable education reform becomes possible when educators are active participants in the learning process.

And that gives us hope.

Some moments remind us why we do what we do.

On May 8th, 2026, at Government Secondary Jing, we witnessed more than a competition we witnessed courage, brilliance, determination, and hope.

14 primary schools.
42 young minds.
One stage to dream boldly.

From the written rounds to the oral sessions, these pupils showed confidence, resilience, and a hunger to learn despite the many challenges facing education today.

One story that touched us deeply was Christ the King School. After narrowly missing qualification last year, they returned stronger, more prepared, and more determined and this time, they secured their place at the Grand Finale. What a powerful reminder that persistence pays off.

Congratulations to:
πŸ† Child Friendly School (Government Category)
πŸ† Christ the King School (Private Category)

At GDEF, this is bigger than winning.

It is about giving children a platform where:

Their voices matter
Their potential is seen
Hard work is celebrated
Education is valued
Because when young people are given opportunity, encouragement, and exposure, incredible things happen.

And this is only the beginning.

On the 8th of May 2026, GDEF had an incredible time at Government Secondary School Jing as we successfully hosted the Pankshin South Inter-Primary School STEM Quiz Competition.

A total of 14 primary schools participated, with 3 representatives from each school, all competing passionately for the two available slots reserved for Pankshin South at the Grand Finale.

Following two engaging rounds of written and oral sessions, the schools that emerged victorious were:

πŸ† Child Friendly School – Government Category

πŸ† Christ the King School – Private Category

One of the most inspiring moments of the competition was witnessing the remarkable comeback of Christ the King School. After narrowly missing qualification for the grand finale last year, they returned this year more determined than ever and emerged at the top through hard work, resilience, and preparation.

For us at GDEF, this initiative goes beyond competition.

It is about:

Creating opportunities for young learners to showcase their potential

Building confidence and critical thinking

Giving children a platform where their voices matter

Reinforcing the value of education and academic excellence

Rewarding dedication and hard work.

Despite the many challenges facing the education sector, these pupils showed up prepared, motivated, and eager to learn.

Initiatives like this help nurture confidence, academic excellence, and early interest in STEM among young learners.

At GDEF, we remain committed to promoting innovative, inclusive, and quality education for all.
