Violence Against Persons is NEVER Acceptable!

No one deserves to live in fear, pain, or suffering at the hands of another. The Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act (VAPP Law) stands as a strong shield against all forms of violence—physical, emotional, psychological, and more.

According to Section 1 of the VAPP Law:
“A person commits an offence if he or she willfully causes or inflicts harm on another person.”

This means that any act of violence, no matter how small, is not just wrong—it is a crime. Whether it’s domestic abuse, emotional manipulation, or physical assault, the law is clear: violence is unacceptable, and there are consequences for those who inflict harm on others.

Let’s stand together to create a world where respect, kindness, and justice prevail. If you or someone you know is experiencing violence, seek help. Speak up. No one should suffer in silence.

🎗️October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month🎗️

This month, WISE-H is also lending it’s voice to this awareness campaign to honor the strength and resilience of those who have battled or are battling breast cancer and also remember those who are no longer with us. 💖

Early detection can save lives!
Regular screenings and self-exams are essential in the fight against breast cancer. Please know the signs, listen to your body, and support those in need.

Let’s spread awareness, share resources, and come together to support research and a future without breast cancer. 💕

Women's Initiative for Stability Health and Empowerment (WISE-H) participated in the AFWAG network fundraising Pitching session where four network members presented their pitches and received valuable feedback from a panel of experts. This session provided a great opportunity to gain practical skills and constructive insights, allowing us to strengthen our fundraising capacity as a network collectively. We look forward to continued learning and Development opportunities with Alliance For Women and Girls .
