Allah blessed Shaykh Abubakar with four wives:

Shaykh Abubakar returned to his Lord on the 13th of Rama岣嵞乶 1427 AH, corresponding to 6th October 2006, on a Friday (Jumu鈥榓h), after a brief illness. He passed away in his residence at Alfa Koro House.

He was buried behind his father, Shaykh Sa士adu-D墨n Alfa Koro, symbolising both spiritual and physical continuity within the scholarly household.

Shaykh Abubakar was born in Ilorin around the early 19th century. He was born into the respected scholarly household of Alfa Koro. His father, Shaykh Sa士adu-D墨n Alfa Koro, was a well-known Islamic scholar whose influence shaped the religious orientation of his children and community.

His mother hailed from Ile Ojibara, further strengthening his ties to notable families within Ilorin Emirate.
