The stage is being set once again as The Jos Community Film Festival (JOCOFFEST)returns for its highly anticipated second edition, themed: Interrogating the Now and Predicting the Future. From November 6th to 8th, 2024, this year’s festival is diving into film’s power to reflect contemporary issues and shape visions of tomorrow. This edition is promising an unparalleled experience of creativity, insight, and inspiration.
Festival attendees are preparing for an immersive program designed to both challenge and captivate:
- FILM SCREENINGS – A curated selection of impactful films, each chosen to provoke thought, spark dialogue, and encourage introspection.
- MASTERCLASSES– Industry icons are leading in-depth sessions on essential aspects of filmmaking: cinematography, makeup/special effects, scriptwriting, music, and dance, offering exclusive insights and practical skills from renowned practitioners.
- ART EXHIBITION – In collaboration with the Plateau State branch of the Society of Nigerian Artists, JOCOFFEST is featuring a dynamic arts showcase that highlights the interplay of visual art and cinema.
