We hosted 10 brilliant secondary school girls at our office in Jos for an exciting hands-on session themed:
“AI for Development: Girls Shaping the Digital Future.”

These amazing young girls didn’t just learn about technology, they explored the future of it.

At CCAPAD, we believe every girl deserves access to digital opportunities, innovation, and leadership spaces.

This is more than a celebration, this is an investment in the next generation of female innovators in Plateau State and Nigeria at large. 🇳🇬

We Resume Work at CCAPAD with a Strong Pledge for Peace 🕊️

After a brief closure due to the recent unrest of in Jos, Plateau State, we are officially back to work at our headquarters, branches, formations and other structures. Our resumption wasn't just "business as usual" it was a powerful reaffirmation of our unity and commitment to humanity.

As a team of different faiths, tribes, and regions, we sat down with our Executive Director, Mr. Ahmed Salihu and reflected on the way forward thus;

Key Highlights:
• Management, staff and volunteers deeply reflected and shared personal stories of how the crises affect us, agreeing that violence bring only loss, destruction and retrogression.
• As strong believers and respecters of the sanctity of human life, we celebrated the historic bravery of Christians and Muslims in Plateau State who united together and protected one another even in the midst of the conflicts.
• Wisdom from our ED: "Peace is intangible; you only truly appreciate its value once you lost it. If you are a majority somewhere, you are a minority somewhere else."

Every staff member individually renewed their oath of allegiance to peace work by affirming their replies to the vital question: "Are you resolved to continue the path of peace?" With a resounding YES, we renewed our vow to build a more peaceful and stable society for generations yet unborn.

We invite our followers and the people of Plateau State to join us in this renewed commitment.
Indeed, our diversity is our greatest strength!

It was a great day at CCAPAD as the staff warmly received a mentor, spiritual father, and respected leader, Rev. Fr. Dr. Stephen Akpe, PhD, the Assistant Coordinator of the JDPC Jos . During the visit, prayers were offered for our new office space, asking for blessings and guidance in the organization’s work.
The moment also served to further strengthen the relationship and collaboration between the two organizations as they continue working together to support communities and promote positive change.

📚 CCAPAD OVC Project Update

With grateful hearts, we are happy to share that under the CCAPAD OVC Project, our team recently visited and supported our existing students by paying their school fees and ensuring they continue their education without interruption.

In addition, we were able to enroll new students into school, giving more children the opportunity to learn and build a better future. These children are now attending Peace Academy, Tudun Wada, Happy Days Private School, Dutse Uku and Glisten Model Private School, Tudun Wada, Jos.

For many of these orphans and vulnerable children, access to education is not guaranteed. Your support helps turn their dreams into reality and gives them hope for a brighter tomorrow. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps keep a child in school and moves us closer to breaking the cycle of poverty through education. ❤️📖

We invite friends, partners, and well-wishers to join us in supporting these children and expanding this impact to reach even more young lives in our communities.
