This International Day of the Girl Child, let us end child marriage, prevent teenage pregnancy, support girls’ education, and invest in their future.

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 2026

Mental health matters, and every voice deserves to be heard.

At CCAPAD, we prioritize the mental well-being of our staff, volunteers, and community members. Our commitment to counselling, dialogue, and peaceful dispute resolution reflects our belief that everyone deserves to be heard, understood, and treated with dignity.

Today, we call on everyone to make mental health a priority:

❤️ Couples: Listen to and support each other emotionally.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents: Give your children a safe space to express themselves.

📚 Teachers: Listen to your students beyond the classroom.

🏢 Employers: Prioritize your staff’s well-being, not just their productivity.

Sometimes, the greatest support you can give someone is to listen and take their feelings seriously.

SUCCESSFUL STRATEGIC MARATHON IN EUROPE; A MESSAGE OF APPRECIATION FROM CCAPAD

We sincerely appreciate the overwhelming goodwill, prayers, congratulatory messages and warm wishes received from individuals, partners, colleagues, friends and well-wishers following the international engagement of our Executive Director, Ahmed Salihu PhD (In view), in Germany.

Ahmed Salihu was invited to Germany by Brot für die Welt for a conference cm course, high-level meetings and strategic engagements focused on development cooperation, peacebuilding and the continued strengthening of the partnership between development partners and CCAPAD.

For us, this engagement represents more than an international visit. It is an important opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange experiences, reflect on lessons from our work in Nigeria, and explore new opportunities for collaboration and greater impact.

CCAPAD deeply values its partnership with Brot für die Welt and the shared commitment to supporting communities, strengthening peace and advancing sustainable and inclusive development. Our work continues to be guided by the belief that communities must remain at the centre of the solutions to the challenges they face.
We are grateful to Brot, DPS, FriEnt/all the partners for the invitation, hospitality and continued confidence on CCAPAD, and to all our partners who continue to support our mission.

To everyone who sent a message, made a call, offered a prayer or expressed their goodwill from the time of departure until his return to Nigeria: thank you.

CCAPAD Hosts PLASCHEMA on Courtesy & Sensitization Visit

The Programs Manager, Mr. Ayuba Yusuf received in audience the team from the Plateau State Contributory Health Care Management Agency [PLASCHEMA] on a courtesy and awareness visit to CCAPAD.

The engagement focused on PLASCHEMA’s mandate and the healthcare services available to Plateau residents, individuals, and organizations under the contributory health scheme.

Speaking on behalf of the Executive Director, Dr. Ahmed Salihu, Mr. Yusuf reaffirmed CCAPAD’s commitment to staff welfare and public health. He assured PLASCHEMA of CCAPAD’s readiness to collaborate and to enroll CCAPAD staff into the scheme.
