FLAGGING OFF: A MONUMENTAL SUCCESS AND A COLOSSAL POSITIVE IMPACT.
Today is one of the most fulfilled days of our lives, a day we felt our lives have attempted to make a difference in our society's collective existence and the sustenance of our threatened planet.
A dream that was conceived and appeared seemingly impossible has come to fruition this day, this remarkable fit wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering support and inputs of our dearest father, HRH Alh. Muhammadu Mu'azu Muhammadu II, the Emir of Kanam, his ever committed council of chiefs headed by His Highness Alh. Musa Halilu, The Madakin Kanam, and the District Head of Dengi, the Turakin Kanam and of course the entire Emirate council.
This is a volunteer work that was funded by very few of the hundreds of thousands of Kanam indigenes, this is a testament to the fact that IT'S NOT HOW MUCH,BUT HOW DETERMINED.In this vein, we'll like to sincerely appreciate the following individuals for the cooperation and support; Plateau State Traders and Marketers Association, Kanam branch, The Nigeria Police Force Kanam Division, The NSCDC, CAN Kanam branch, JNI Kanam branch, NURTW.
And to these crop of benevolent individuals and groups; Alh. Madugu ABT, Com. Saminu Maigoro , Arc Saleem Ahmad , Com. Diket Plang, Amb Khadija Ishaq Bawas , Mustapha Haruna , Barr. Adamu Nuhu for finding out of their very scarce resources, a means to join us in funding this massive project, ALLAH SAKA DA ALKHAIRI. We are assuring you of a judicious and prudent utilization of the funds you graciously donated and that we will make sure you are adequately fed in a most transparent way, with informations regarding this campaign and how we intend to sustain these trees.
To others who could not support us financially, but provided moral and professional inputs, we pray that the good Lord will also reward you richly.
To our team of relentless members headed by myself, who within a short while, were able to conceived, initiated and organized this amazing project, I am personally proud of what we've achieved today.May God continue to binds us together like always, give us the resilience to continue on this path even in the face of numerous attempted sabotage from the detractors and the doubting Thomases.
It is no longer news that THE GREEN GOLD CAMPAIGN'24 championed by Kanam Pen Resource Foundation is one of the biggest awareness/tree planting exercise in recent history of Kanam LGA which unfortunately is one of the humid zones on the Plateau. What happened today is just a flagg-off, we will have a week-long planting period of 200 trees 🌲, after which there won't be any planting but a nursing period of 4 weeks where the planted trees will see intensive and rigorous care and supervision before another round of planting in the early days of July, 2024. Meanwhile those who wish to support can do so as we will continue to provide seedlings to individuals and strategic locations within the administrative headquarters, equally people can request for any seedling of their choice through our appropriate contacts.
Kanam Pen Resource Foundation KPRF is a bank of ideas and what will be seen now is a marathon round of impactful implementations of such lofty ideas for the betterment of lives and livelihood in Kanam Local government.
