Peace Cord Organized a Gender Inclusion and SGBV prevention workshop for youth and women from Anglo Jos communities aimed at promoting and protecting FoRB. 22 participants were in attendance (9 males and 13 females ). Sessions such as conflict transformation (why, when, & how), gender mainstreaming, gender inclusion, community transformative initiative, SGBV: (causes, effect and prevention,) religion role in promoting gender equality and SGBV prevention e.t.c were discussed and action plans designed to create awareness about FoRB and Gender Equality.

Peace Cord is excited to announce it's partnership with Bellwether International to implements a Women and Youth FoRB Fund project titled "Promoting Religious Tolerance for Peaceful Coexistence in Fragile Community of Nigeria ". The project is focused on delivering a well equipped grassroots women and youth groups in fragile communities in Northern Nigeria to foster FoRB, Peacebuilding and Human Rights.
