Today, we received the news of the tragic death of one of our brave soldiers, who was ambushed and killed while on active duty.

He paid the ultimate price in service to his country, standing in defense of peace and security. His courage, sacrifice, and commitment will never be forgotten.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire community. May The Almighty forgive his shortcomings, accept his sacrifice, and grant him Paradise. May the Almighty also grant his loved ones the strength and patience to bear this great loss.

Sometimes, a single road can tell the story of an entire community.

For over a decade, this road has been our daily struggle- children trekking through dust and mud, vehicles breaking down, businesses suffering, and residents enduring inconveniences that words cannot fully capture. It has been a silent hardship that shaped our mornings and troubled our nights.

But today, hope finally touched our community. We deeply appreciate the Deputy Chairman of Jos North LGC, Hon. Kabiru Garkuwa, whose immediate response to our cry brought the ongoing laterite intervention. We are also thankful to the Executive Chairman, Hon. J.K. Christ, for showing leadership that listens and acts. Their effort may not be the final solution, but it is a light after many years of darkness, and for that, our hearts are grateful.

Yet, as we celebrate this relief, we cannot forget how long we have waited. A decade is a long time for a community to carry this burden. That is why we humbly and sincerely appeal to the Government of Plateau State and His Excellency the Governor of Plateau state- Caleb Manessah Muftwang to please help us complete this road. Our people deserve a safe and finished road.

We are hopeful, your Excellency Caleb Mutfwang . We are grateful. And we are pleading from the depth of our hearts: Please come to our aid and bring this road to completion.
