On February 1st, 2025, we hosted an electrifying Pitch Day for our hackathon, where four trailblazing teams unveiled their groundbreaking solutions to pressing environmental challenges. Each team showcased exceptional creativity, passion, and dedication to crafting a sustainable future.
Team Highlights:
- Team Ecomanga: Presented a blockchain-based social media platform promoting climate action, featuring a marketplace for sustainable products.
- Team Biomass Briquette Value Chain Development: Introduced a revolutionary clean cooking solution using biomass briquettes, empowering communities with sustainable fuel solutions.
- Team Greener Advocates: Showcased an innovative biochar solution, tackling soil degradation, climate change, and organic waste management simultaneously.
- Project Pet Toilets: Presented an impressive solution addressing poor sanitation and plastic waste pollution, constructing eco-friendly toilets using discarded PET bottles.
