Gombe: OSALP Foundation CareBridge Membership Outreach Program (CMOP) – Over 400 Streets in Gombe State
The CareBridge Membership Outreach Program (CMOP) – Gombe State is a community-based support initiative designed to connect OSALPF members with aged persons and vulnerable groups across urban and rural communities in Gombe State. The program deploys trained and certified Community Support Development (CSD) volunteers who work closely with traditional institutions, ward leaders, religious bodies, and local authorities to identify elderly individuals and less privileged households in need of support. Through structured outreach activities, CMOP–Gombe coordinates assistance such as food items, basic healthcare referrals, psychosocial support, and social inclusion services. The program also establishes a reliable reporting and monitoring system to track impact at the community level. By strengthening collaboration between donors, professionals, volunteers, and beneficiaries within Gombe State, the project reinforces OSALPF’s mandate as Nigeria’s first generic membership body for CSD while promoting accountability, community ownership, and sustainable social responsibility.
