UPDATE FROM THE FIELD: MURBAI EYE SCREENING RESULTS

Livingstone Explorer is dedicated to serving communities, and we do all these things completely free of charge to all the communities we reach out to.

We are intentional about productive collaboration that leads to the betterment of the communities we work in, it gladdens our heart to announce that Benbrian Support mission and A &T Eye center commenced an eye screening exercise in Murbai Village, and the results reveal an urgent need for intervention. It is a sobering reality that out of the 40 children screened, they all have one form of eye condition or the other.

Key Findings from the Screening:
* Total children examined: 40 children.
* Glaucoma: 3 children.
* Mixed conjunctivitis: 6 children.
* Bacterial conjunctivitis: 4 children.
* Allergic conjunctivitis: 25 children.
* Vernal conjunctivitis: 1 child.
* Trachoma follicle: 1 child.
Worthy to note, 3 out of the 7 blind children were seen today and they all have Glaucoma.

THE PATH FORWARD:
The organisation will be going to the village to conduct an investigative research in respect to the blindness. If the blindness is corrective, we will conduct free surgeries for them and also develop preventive measures.

How You Can Support:
As a missionary organisation, we would deeply appreciate any form of support from individuals or organisations to help us reach more lives and bring healing.
Together, we can make a lasting impact!

Bridging the digital divide, one village at a time. 🚀 Watching the children of Nzagong touch a computer for the very first time reminded us that potential is universal, but opportunity makes all the difference. The journey has just begun!
