A little story behind our 120 textbooks for public schools in Iwo land.
Certian stories remain untold.Gustave Eiffel designed the Eiffel tower in France. That Project is a Project of Purpose.Purpose is what anchors a decision even when circumstances are uncertian.Purpose gives direction.
Our Program this year was remarkable. We were able to distirbute about 120 different textbooks.A strong purpose by our lovers and instructors of Renaissance Instructors to distribute these textbooks to public school students in Iwo land.Beyond the lights and shines, there are many struggles, rejections and challenges beneath.
On a scorching Tuesday morning, our team packed 120 brand‑new textbooks covering like 13 different subejcts into a battered minibus and set off from Lagos, bound for Iwo community. The mission? To donate the books and give our students a brighter future.
The first hurdle was the traffic—Lagos never sleeps, and the heat made the air feel like a sauna. We sweated through the jam, double‑checking that every book was still snug in its box. By the time we hit the highway, the bus started making a weird clunking noise. “Just a little hiccup,” we told each other, but the engine sputtered and died a few kilometres out of town.
With strong sense of Purpose we repaired it with Baba Iwo who doubles both as driver and experienced mechanic.
With a fresh engine roaring, we hit the road again. The sun was setting when we finally rolled into Iwo town and was greeted with th welcome to Iwo signpost by our revered king.
By the end of the Program, every textbook found a new home. The broken bus? It’s now a funny story we’ll tell for years, a reminder that even when things fall apart, the mission carries on.
Sustainable success is defined not just by performance but by purpose and ability to invest in People.
