In collaboration with Wrahp Nigeria and supported by African Women's Development Fund Patricia Sukore Foundation for Women and Children visited USA International School on Friday, 26th September 2025 to conduct an essential sensitization session for students on the importance of speaking up when they feel violated or are uncomfortable with some type of touches which at the session were classified as "bad touches".
This educational visit aimed to empower young individuals with the knowledge and confidence to address issues related to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV).
During the session, students actively participated, raising questions about their fears and concerns regarding SGBV. The foundation’s representatives provided clear answers, fostering an open dialogue that encouraged students to express their feelings and experiences. Emphasizing the importance of communication, the session aimed to instill a sense of realization that their bodies belong to them among the students.
By the end of the visit, students left with a better understanding of their rights and the resources available to them. This initiative marked a significant step towards creating a safer and more supportive environment for young people in the community African Women's Development FundWomen's rights And Health ProjectWrahp Nigeria
