Beatrice Oluwasanya Foundation - BOF is a community based non-profit organization set up to actively support less privileged children, youth and the elderly in areas of education support, healthcare support and economic/entrepreneurial empowerment for those who justly needs help to be lifted out of abject poverty. BO Foundation seeks to carry on a legacy of love and compassion as lived out by late

Madam Beatrice Oluwasanya of Uso community, Owo Local Government Area, Ondo State. A woman whose life can be aptly summed up as service to her family, Children, the less privileged and her community. BO Foundation as a platform for humanitarian services shall continue to work on those issues she cares deeply about as detailed below:

Education – Through the work of BO Foundation, it is our desire that no child is left behind from receiving quality education on account of economic status. The foundation shall mobilize resources to support less privileged bright and promising children who otherwise would have had difficulty receiving education due to financial constraints. Our support for education is strictly need based and shall cover primary, secondary, vocational and tertiary education levels. The Board of Trustees, working collaboratively with the community will provide grants, scholarships, education materials, training and support for educational institutions to renew their teaching aids/facilities in other to ensure children in the local community can receive instructions under the most conducive atmosphere. Healthcare – BO Foundation shall provide healthcare support for children and the elderly especially on cases of diabetes and high blood pressure. The foundation shall work with the healthcare community to provide diagnostic equipment for local healthcare facilities as well as organize free diabetes and high blood pressure screening workshops from time to time. We believe that early diagnostics is pivotal to preventing untimely deaths on accounts of these two health epidemics in small communities with limited access to primary care facilities. Similarly, BO Foundation shall provide assistance to deserving underprivileged children and elderly in established rare cases of financial needs by offsetting hospital and medication bills. Economic/Entrepreneurial Empowerment – Economic deprivation and lack of youth engagement remains the leading course of social vices in underserved communities across Nigeria today. The volume of reported cases of teen pregnancy and substance abuse among the youth is very disturbing. These are vulnerable age group that requires special assistance to be positively engaged. BO Foundation shall support eligible women and youth enrolled in vocational training and provide financial assistance in form of grants, loans and or cash awards depending on the decision of the Board of Trustees having screened such candidate. We shall also work with the individuals who has completed vocational training but lacking the financial resources to set up or start a trade. Through BO Foundation activities and support, we hope to create economic independent women and young people empowered to contribute positively to the economic development of the community. We fund our activities by way of material and financial contributions from donor groups, religious organizations, private citizens, profit and non-profit organizations around the world. These are passionate individuals desirous of contributing their time and resources towards alleviating the pains of the underprivileged.
