A MISSION TO FEED THE POOR, THE NEEDY, THE NEGLECTED AND THE FORSAKEN A VISION TO HELP

ABOUT US OUR STORY

We are a group of ordinary friends who love the Lord Jesus and meet regularly to pray, worship and praise the Lord. We just love Jesus. So one day in Dec 2016 as we gathered together to pray our last vigil of the year, and the word of the Lord came to us about the prophetic events that would happen in 2017.

There were a series of Messages but the second message of the night was the warning that there would be great famine and starvation around the world. It was an emphatic warning. We heard the word from the Lord, we were shaken but as usual just prayed that God would intervene and thought nothing of it anymore. It was not until about two months later, in February 2017 that I saw an amateur video made probably by an unknown person depicting the videos of people affected by Famine in Africa, with particular reference to the Somalia drought in the early 1990s. I was captivated by this video and as I continued watching it, I felt convicted. I saw my selfishness, my lack of love and empathy. I heard the Lord saying to me what are you going to do about my word which I gave to you 2 months ago, I never do anything without first informing my prophets, if they heeded my word, most of these disasters could have been averted if we repented of our ways and seek the Lord. I did not release my words to you so you could just sit on it and do nothing. It is so you can do something about it.

As I felt the enormity of the assignment and my inadequacy to fulfil the mandate of the Lord, I was reminded of two messages in the bible. First, he reminded me of Joseph the son of Isaac who from prison went on to become the Prime minister of Egypt. The Lord assured me that all He is asking for is a willing hand to use and He will fill this hand with his wisdom and knowledge to carry out the assignment.
