🎁 ISARA HOPE FOR WIDOWS FOUNDATION: 2025 CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY 🎁

"Be generous to the widows and those in need. The man to whom our Lord has been liberal ought not to be stingy. We shall one day find in Heaven as much rest and joy as we ourselves have dispensed in this life.”

On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the Isara Hope for Widows Foundation successfully concluded another annual outreach in Isara Remo. Widows from various quarters converged to receive essential food items and gifts ahead of the Christmas Celebration.

🌟 A Tradition of Generosity
The Foundation is renowned in Isara for its consistent, twice-yearly gestures to the vulnerable:
Eid-il-Kabir Festival: Dedicated to Muslim widows.
Christmas Celebration: Dedicated to Christian widows.

This year's Christmas edition took place at the Methodist Church, Oke-Oja, Isara Remo.
The foundation's Secretary, Alhaji Taiwo Bakare, led other members of the Givers’ team in presenting the gifts.

They were graciously hosted at the church auditorium by Reverend Sunday Ojesola, the Presbyter of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Isara Remo.

Reverend Ojesola delivered a powerful sermon, drawing from various Bible verses on the importance and blessings of giving. He encouraged the beneficiaries to emulate the foundation's spirit of generosity and offered heartfelt prayers for the continued success and blessing of all members.

The event concluded with the enthusiastic recitation of the Foundation’s Anthem by the members and beneficiaries, followed by the presentation of the food items to the widows.

📖 Short History of the Foundation
The Isara Hope for Widows Foundation was born towards the end of November 2019.
The visionaries, Messrs Dupe Osisanya (UK) and Funmi Dorcas Adenekan (UK), fueled by a passion to support vulnerable widows among Isara indigenes, established a WhatsApp platform to promote charitable activities. They shared this noble cause with friends both at home and in the diaspora, receiving immediate and enthusiastic buy-in.
