Mercy Foster Home Care Foundation is a charity-based voluntary organization working towards the development and upliftment of the society by taking care of the aged and the destitute. Besides an increased level of illness, the aging the process itself leads to certain disabilities such as low vision and blindness resulting from cataracts, deafness, nerve impairment loss of mobility from arthritis,

and a general inability to care for oneself. Even the well-cared elders will fall sick often because of age, but if they are neglected by their relations and left on the streets, where do they go? With this great apprehension towards the destitute elders on the streets, the vision of establishing Mercy Foster Home Care Foundation was conceived by Evang. Ejizu Akudo Agnes to provide free food, health care, and shelter to destitute elders on our streets. Moreover, the affluent whose schedules are tight and might be too busy to personally take care of their age and sick parents can as well bring them to the Foundation for proper care. The home will take care of the basic needs of the sick and poorest of poor elderly people who are in our society, due to lack of care and concern from their children or family members. WHERE IS THE FACILITY LOCATED? The Foundation is located in the outskirts of Owerri, at Agbaoso Ndukwe Rd, Amador Obosima Rd, Ohaji/ Egbema LGA, in Imo State, Nigeria
