​The attention of the Ilutitun Youth Development Forum (IYDF) has been drawn to news circulating across various social media platforms alleging that Ayebusiwa Olabode Victor was recently killed in the war in Ukraine.

​We wish to state clearly and categorically that the leadership of the IYDF has already initiated a formal inquiry.
We have contacted immediate family members and are in direct communication with the Family Secretary to thoroughly investigate and verify the authenticity of this report.

At this stage, we are strictly awaiting official confirmation and credible updates directly from the family.

Investigations are actively underway, and the Forum is committed to providing accurate, verified updates as soon as definitive feedback is received from the family.

Today, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Ilutitun Chapter, a body uniting Pentecostal Christian denominations across Nigeria, came out en masse for a solemn Prayer Walk and Peace Rally in response to the growing insecurity and recurring killings of Christians in the nation.

The gathering served as a moment of intercession for peace, unity, and divine intervention in Nigeria. As they marched through the community in prayers, participants also displayed placards bearing heartfelt messages and appeals for the safety and protection of Christians, as well as peace and stability across the entire country.

It was indeed a powerful expression of faith, unity, and concern for the nation, as believers stood together to seek God’s mercy and restoration for Nigeria.

WEEKEND SECURITY ALERT: STAY VIGILANT, STAY SAFE.

​Dear Progressive Youths and Respected Elders of Ilutitun Morubodo Kingdom,
​In light of the current security challenges across the nation, safeguarding our community is a collective responsibility that we cannot afford to take lightly. Security is not just the job of the uniform personnel; it begins with you and me.

​As we head into the weekend, the IYDF Media Unit urges everyone to stay security-conscious and adopt these vital safety measures:

​1. Report Suspicious Activity Immediately
​If you notice any unfamiliar movements, strange faces, or suspicious behavior in your neighborhood, do not stay silent. Report immediately to:
​Your Street Youth Leader
​Your local Chiefs / Community Elders
​The Nearest Police Station

​2. Mind Your Conversations
​Be highly cautious of the information you share in public spaces. Avoid discussing sensitive financial matters, personal routines, or travel plans with strangers, whether in transit, at markets, or online.

​3. A Special Appeal to Landlords (Know Your Tenants!)
​Property owners must be extra vigilant before renting out apartments or shops.
​Properly validate the identity and background of potential tenants with necessary legal documentation.
​Ensure your existing tenants and close neighbors are aware of who is moving in. Let us not harbor individuals with questionable characters.

​ 4. Protect One Another: Life is Priceless
​To our vibrant youths and community members, let us stand together in unity. No amount of money is worth human life. Let us refuse to be bought over, and let us never sell out our brothers or neighbors. Keep a watchful eye on our children, especially as they go to and from school, and look out for everyone around you.

​“Security is a shared commitment. If you see something, say something!”

​Let us work together to keep our community safe, peaceful, and secure.
