A HEALER, HUMANITARIAN AND PRIDE OF ILUTITUN: DR. PAUL JESUYAJOLU
The Ilutitun Youth Development Forum proudly celebrates a distinguished son, a medical professional, humanitarian and community development enthusiast whose impact continues to speak loudly across Ilutitun and beyond, Dr. Paul Jesuyajolu.
Dr. Jesuyajolu is the President of Graceland Hernia Foundation and the Chief Medical Director of Graceland Medical Centre, Lekki, Lagos State. A proud son of the Ikuyajolu Family of Igo Aduwo Quarters Ilutitun, he also serves as the Basorun of Ilutitun Morubodo Kingdom and also a respected member of the Morubodo Development Council.
His name has become synonymous with one of the most remarkable health interventions ever witnessed in our community the “Ilutitun Surgical Festival”. As the brain behind this life-changing medical outreach, Dr. Jesuyajolu has led an initiative that has provided free surgeries and medical care for hernia and other health conditions, touching and transforming the lives of over 1,000 beneficiaries.
The Ilutitun Surgical Festival has been successfully held on three different occasions in Ilutitun, drawing beneficiaries from across Morubodo Kingdom and neighbouring communities, with people coming from as far as the Ijebu Waterside area of Ogun State to benefit from this exceptional gesture.
Beyond the direct medical interventions, the impact of the festival has extended to the broader development of Ilutitun. The initiative brought the Comprehensive Health Centre, Ilutitun, into greater limelight and contributed to attracting the establishment of the Rural Practice Centre of the Department of Community Medicine, University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), in our community.
This is the kind of impact that goes beyond words; identifying a need, creating a solution and opening doors to greater opportunities for an entire community.
Dr. Paul Jesuyajolu, we sincerely appreciate your continued support, commitment and invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Ilutitun. Your passion for improving lives through healthcare and your unwavering interest in the progress of our community remain truly commendable.
As we celebrate you this week, we honour not just your professional accomplishments, but your heart for humanity, your service to our people and your enduring belief in the development of Morubodo Kingdom.
Thank you for giving back. Thank you for standing with Ilutitun. Thank you for using your platform, profession and resources to make a meaningful difference.
