Gideon Abowha Foundation Empowers KWASU Mr & Miss Fresher with Scholarships, Cash Prizes & Global Career Opportunities
The Gideon Abowha Foundation has once again demonstrated its commitment to youth development and educational empowerment by supporting a major student program at Kwara State University (KWASU).
As part of the initiative, the Foundation announced partial scholarships for both Mr Fresher and Miss Fresher, alongside cash prizes in recognition of excellence, leadership, and potential.
In addition, the winners were sponsored for a digital skills training programme through a partner brand in Malete, with an opportunity to proceed into a paid internship with a partner company based in London, opening doors to global exposure and practical experience.
Looking ahead, KWASU has been confirmed as the location for the Foundation’s next major outreach, where free transportation will be provided for over 2,000 students, alongside business sponsorship support for three emerging entrepreneurs within the university community.
The Gideon Abowha Foundation remains committed to bridging the gap between education, opportunity, and global relevance for young Africans.
More impactful initiatives are coming soon to KWASU.
