GROUP URGES BOMA'S 2027 RETURN, CITING OUTSTANDING FIRST TERM PERFORMANCE
The Alliance for Good Governance has urged Hon. Barr. Oba Magaji AbdulKadir - BOMA, the lawmaker representing Ilorin Central (Magaji Ngari) Constituency and Kwara State House Leader, to return as their representative at the State Assembly in the 2027 general election.
In a statement, the group's leader, Mallam Mohammad Baba, commended Barr. Oba for his remarkable achievements, including the provision of boreholes in various communities across the five wards of Ilorin Central Constituency, providing access to clean water for residents.
The group secretary, Mr. Ibrahim Musa, highlighted the impact of Hon. Oba's empowerment initiatives, including the distribution of motorcycles, freezers, grinding machines, sewing machines, and other items to support commerce. Cash support was also given to businesses and artisans.
Residents, including Hajia Ramat Abdulganiyu Iya Laje from Badari Ward, praised Barr. Oba's initiatives, particularly the weekly cash support for widows and aged people, and the establishment of weekly free medical services across the constituency.
A group member from Baboko Ward commended Barr. Oba for providing solar-street lights, enhancing security and night-trade in communities. Sakariyyah Akeem, a group coordinator, thanked Hon. Barr. Oba for his contributions to the development of Ilorin Central Constituency.
