Today at the Kwara State public hearing on the Kwara State Public Procurement Law, all the invited state ministries, departments, and agencies supported the amendment. Only ENetSuD, which has been tracking government projects before AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq came onboard, called for the total rejection of the amendment, with support from Comrade Abdulwaheed Onikanhun.

URGENT TO ALL KWARANS!

Yesterday,ENetSuD received an invitation from Kwara State House of Assembly for all Kwara State Civil Society Organizations to attend a critical public hearing on Monday, 20th April 2026 by 12pm.

Kwara Lawmakers want to amend the Kwara State Public Procurement Law No. 7 of 2020 to INCREASE contract amounts for open bidding, change restricted procurement rules, and APPROVE 30% upfront payments to contractors.

This affects how YOUR tax money is spent. ENetSuD urges every Kwaran to read this law NOW and show up on Monday to make your voice heard. Remember once this law passes, ignorance is no excuse!
