Tomorrow is the Day of Arafah - the most powerful day of the year.

A day that Allah responds, forgives and free people from the Fire - more than any other day..

But many people let it slip by, lost in chores, distractions, or emotional exhaustion ; unaware of the power right in front of them.

On this day, Allah is truly pleased with His servants.
He loves to be asked.
He loves when we open up and ask boldly for healing, forgiveness, love, clarity, peace, and every good thing we’ve been aching for.

Don’t let Arafah breeze by like any other day.

Prepare your heart, and show up for your du’a like Allah is near ;because He is.

May Allah allow us all witness it, benefit from it and be among those who will be forgiven.

Aameen

7th Dhul hijjah 1446AH

Ten days of Dhul-Hijjah versus Ramadan

People are more eager to work during Ramadan than they are during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah,

Even though working during these ten days is more beloved to Allah than working during the days of Ramadan, and is preferable.

This is a confirmation of the Prophet's ﷺ statement: "The devils are chained during Ramadan, and they are unable to do what they used to do at other times."

The devils strive during the first ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah) to distract people and distract them from work, but they are unable to do so during Ramadhan.

Therefore, striving to work during these ten days is more difficult and more intense. But if you strive during the days of Dhul-Hijjah that is better for you.

6th Dhul hijjah 1446AH

Everyday of our lives is a chance to worship Allah SWT and get closer to him.

We are still in the 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, a beautiful chance to get Closer to Allah swt, because deeds done on these days are so much beloved to him than any other day of the year.

Whatever it is, please dua it to the Lord of the worlds.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"There are no days that are greater in the sight of Allah and more beloved to Him than these ten days, so increase your declaration of Allah's Oneness (Tahleel), greatness (Takbeer), and praise (Tahmeed) during them."

Let's busy our tongues with Dhikr! Let's recite:

The Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There are no other days during which deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten. Alhamdulilah, we are fortunate to reach these days that Allah, the most High swore by.

Al-Fajr 89:2

وَلَيَالٍ عَشۡرࣲ

And [by] ten nights

Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No deeds are more pure to Allah Almighty, nor greater in reward, than good deeds performed in the ten days of the month of sacrificing.”

These texts and others indicate that these ten days are better than all the other days of the year, with no exceptions, not even the last ten days of Ramadan.

✍️ Wednesday, 28th May, 2025 is the 1st Dhul-Hijjah, 1446.

✍️ The day of Arafah shall be Thursday, 5th June, 2025.

✍️ Idul-Adha (Ileya festival) shall be Friday, 6th June, 2025.

Happy Idul-Adha in advance.

🤲 May Allah ease righteous deeds for us therein and guide us to the acts of worship that will make our scale heavy with goodness. May Allah spare our lives till and beyond Idul-Adha. Amin.🤲

Contemplate and be thankful

Remember the favors of Allah upon you and how they surround you from above and below indeed, from every direction.

They recognize the grace of Allah, yet they deny it

(Surah An-Nahl verse 83)

He has completed and perfected His Graces upon you. Health, safety, nourishment, clothing, air, and water these all point to the world being yours, yet you do not realize it. You possess all that life has to offer, yet remain ignorant.

Do you not see that Allāh has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allāh without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him].
(Surah Luqman verse 20)

You have at your disposal two cyes, a tongue, lips, two hands. and two legs.

Then which of the blessings of your Lord will you both [jinns and men] deny?

(Surah Ar-Rahman verse 21)

🤲Can you picture yourself walking without feet? Should you take it lightly that you slumber soundly while misery hinders the sleep of many? Should you forget that you fill yourself with both delicious dishes and cool water while the pleasure of good food and drink is impossible for some, due to sickness and disease?

🤲Consider the faculties of hearing and seeing with which you have been endowed. Look at your healthy skin and be grateful that you have been saved from diseases that attack it. Reflect on your powers of reasoning and remember those that suffer from mental ailments.

And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them.

(Qur'an Surah Ibrahim : 34)

🤲Would you sell your ability to hear and see for the weight of Mount Uhud in gold, or your ability to speak for huge castles? You have been given abundant favors, yet you feign ignorance. Notwithstanding warm bread, cool water, easy sleep, and good health, you remain despondent and depressed. You think about what you do not have and are ungrateful for what you have been given. You are troubled by a loss in wealth, yet you have the key to happiness and many blessings.

And also in your ownselves [are signs), will you not then see?

(Qur'an 51: 21)

Reflect upon yourself, your family, your friends, and the entire world that is around you.

Contemplate and be thankful 🤲🤲🤲

Life doesn't always go the way we plan.

We might face rejection after applying for a job, experience a sudden change in our plans, or see a close friendship drift apart. In those moments, it's easy to feel disappointed or even heartbroken. But have we ever considered that perhaps these setbacks are actually for our own good?

In the Qur'an, Allah ﷻ reminds us:

But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you do not know.

(Surah Al-Baqarah verse 216)

This verse reassures us that Allah's wisdom is far greater than ours. What seems like a loss today could be a blessing in disguise. When a door closes on something we deeply desire, it's natural to feel sad. But let's not get stuck staring at that closed door. Instead, let’s take a moment to look around.

Often, when Allah takes something away, He is preparing us for something better—something we might not have even imagined. So, if you're feeling down about a missed opportunity or a lost chance, remember:
Allah knows what’s best for you. He might be protecting you from harm or guiding you toward something far greater.

Trust that He has a plan, even if you can't see it right now.

Take a deep breath, lift your eyes from that closed door, and believe that new ones are opening— ones that will lead you to something beautiful, something meant just for you.
