‎Parental Negligence Must be Criminalized

‎1. The fundamental thought in psychology is "no matter the level of human disability, with care and attention human being still has power to function and be relevant" in any given society.
‎
‎2. This is the reason why advanced countries place premium on the education, training and the functionality of every individual that are physically challenged. It is assumed as basic.
‎
‎3. Special attention places on the Physically Challenged automatically removes stigmatization. Thus, all cases of disabilities become government responsibilities. Therefore,all provisions are channeled to them directly to sustain living and fulfil their purposes.
‎
‎
‎4. In Nigeria,the burden of the physically challenged children began with the people attributing disabilities to spiritism. Automatically,a disable child is born into negligence, stigmatization and hostility. No care, no plan and all turned against the child. Life becomes burden automatically.
‎
‎5. The attention of Wit and Will Foundation for the Physically Challenged Children, Ilesha, Osun State was called to the plight of this boy. Our findings show that his case couldn't have been this bad if adequate care had been given to him from the start.
‎
‎6. Although, is it established that the mother has little to spend, bad enough he is a product of extra marital discord. However, if the society has social security plans for such it could have salvaged the situation no matter the marital discord.
‎
‎7. The boy had not been to school, neither adequately interact with peers, he has always been indoor lieing down on the same spot. So awful a situation.
‎
‎8. As the little we can do, wheelchair was presented to him this morning 27/10/2025 to at least improve his situation. He can be pushed around to change location,interact and quit lonely stand. The boy is 17 years old.
‎
‎9. Wit and Will Foundation specially thank donors who made it possible to achieve the past endeavors, to cope with the present challenges and equip the foundation for the tasks ahead.
‎

‎1. The new academic session for 2025/26 began in September 2025 across all schools where Wit and Will Foundation has over 20+ sponsored children.
‎
‎2. All our sponsored children live in the hostels in their respective schools except the ones in the University of Ilesha and Oyo State College of Education Special, Oyo.
‎
‎3. As at today all students on sponsorship had been attended to in terms of their school fees, house rents and provisions.
‎
‎4. The clips above depicts those in School for the Physically Challenged Children, Ilesha, Osun State. Their provisions are supplied today 07/10/2025.
‎
‎5. As the efforts were made possible by the donors who deemed it worthy, Wit and Will Foundation expresses it's inexhaustible appreciation for their supports. We shall always be grateful 🙏
‎
‎Note: We shall always be grateful to have educational materials such as hearing aids, mobility aids such as wheelchair and crutches. These materials could be used that are in good conditions or new.
‎Sports materials for the challenged children shall also be appreciated 👍

‎Life Choice Foundation in collaboration with Wit and Will Foundation
‎
‎1.Today Friday 3rd of October, 2025 remains significant in the a**l of history for Wit and Will Foundation.
‎
‎2. The medical outreach named Life Choice Foundation set up by Prof. Boye Omole visited the School for the Physically Challenged Children, Ilesha with the team of medical personnel to attend to the physically challenged children.
‎
‎3. The program is anchored in partnership with Life Choice Foundation and Wit and Will Foundation as coordinated by Prof. Boye Omole.
‎
‎4. Life Choice Foundation brought medical personnel and pediatric medicine of variant values and utilities for the physically challenged children.
‎
‎5. On the spot assessment and recommendations were made and lots of interventions done
‎
‎6. It was a fun moment as children were treated to good music and drinks for their delight.
‎
‎7. Wit and Will Foundation is endlessly grateful for the progress made through the medical supports.
‎
‎8. Life Choice Foundation promised more interventions and visitations from time to time.
‎
‎9. Wit and Will Foundation shall always be honored to have you again and for the fulfillment of all promises made.
‎

‎1. I have seen the elderly man several times plying with his rickety motorcycle despite his age and challenges.
‎
‎2. My attention was drawn to him through the walking stick that is always kept in front of his motorcycle. I did not know why he keeps the walking stick until someone told me that he has challenges using his right leg.
‎
‎3. I later noticed that the walking stick though made of aluminum is somehow broken towards the end and it was braced. It can't be comfortable for him.
‎
‎4. I penned him down for assistance, though it was a bit difficult because I didn't have the replacement at hand and the problem is how to locate him in case we have another one to present.
‎
‎5. Today, 9/10/2025 happened to be the destined day to solve the problem as I met him buying fuel along the road. I stopped him and presented the replacement support stick to him.
‎
‎5. The one Wit and Will Foundation gave him has four stands instead of the one former one. He was so grateful for the support because he said the former one do sink into the mud.
‎
‎6. Going by the philosophy of Wit and Will Foundation, THE LITTLE WE CAN DO., we have done.
‎

‎Wit & Will Came Before she Woke Up

‎1. Wit and Will Foundation is primarily established to intervene in the well-being of the physically challenged children who are of school ages in the area of their educational sponsorships, healthcare and material needs such food, clothing etc
‎
‎2. However, some compelling cases pertaining to the needs of the helpless adults who are physically challenged could not be ignored, in so much they have compelling reasons to warrant assistance.
‎
‎3. The case of the woman in this context had been pending with Wit and Will Foundation because the demands for wheelchairs, crutches and other mobility aids outwit supplies. Therefore we often verify the actuality of the person in need before intervention.
‎
‎4. Having established that she needs the wheelchair, we went to her house located at Sabo Area, Ilesha East before she could wake up or go out. Therefore she was not expecting it.
‎
‎5. She woke up to meet us at her door. Her children were happy and stunned while she took was bewildered to see us with new wheelchair. She couldn't express her gratitude enough but her expression says it all.
‎
‎6. Wit and Will Foundation delivered the wheelchair and assisted her to Mount it. As my personal slogan goes always THAT'S THE LITTLE WE CAN DO FOR HUMANITY. It will always remain a little we can do. Your support makes it possible.
‎
‎7. Apart from her condition, I strongly believe she needs token to support herself but I could not give her anything because we are preoccupied with the 20+ physically challenged children that will resume in few days time.
‎
‎8. Despite the above, I promised to visit her soon in case we have anything for her support. So far she is not idle she deserves support no matter how little. Anything on her name goes to her.
‎
‎9. We will use this opportunity to appeal to people with means for supports us on wheelchairs, crutches and other mobility aids, be it used or new. Further, we have over 20+ children on scholarships that will resume this month in case there is any assistance.
‎

*Wit and Will Foundation for the Physically Challenged*

Dear Sir/Ma

Good day,

The name of our foundation is *Wit and Will Foundation for the Physically Challenged Children, Ilesha*

The Foundation focuses on seeking assistance for the physically challenged children who are from poor backgrounds so as to give them opportunities to have *Education* *Healthcare* and also provide *materials* such as clothing and foods. Their parents are beneficiaries as we empower them on their trades.

As at today, we have over 20 Physically Challenged Children on our sponsorship across schools in Southwestern Nigeria. Most of those children are visually challenged (blind) and they all live in hostels in their respective schools.

The Foundation had intervened in many faucets such as provision of food items and materials for adults which we do quarterly. We have share canes for the visually challenged, built toilet and bathroom for the Physically Challenged Children Schools, pay stipends to retirees who are unable to fend for self, carried out eye surgical operations for children and ensure their education sponsorships. These are few among other attainments.

The foundation has track record of six years of interventions but officially gazettes in 2024 with constituted *Board of Trustees*

We advocate for supports and disseminate information related to the welfare of the physically challenged children, adults under considerations are also beneficiaries of our interventions.

The Foundation relies on the goodwill of donors and willing organizations to achieve these feats.

We usually update our donors on the activities of the foundation, this is not to always seek donations but to:
1. Inform our donors of our programs and progress.
2. Seek for links to other personalities or organizations with similar focus.
3. Seek positive criticism and advise.
4. To remind people of our existence let them know that the Foundation also offer consultancy for whoever wants to intervene in humanitarian support for any group.

‎So Little to You, So Big to Her

‎1. A brother had been on my neck for weeks pleading the case of a woman. The woman is physically challenged and struggling to fend for herself.
‎
‎2. Actually, Wit and Will Foundation for the Physically Challenged Children is primarily for the children that are still of school ages but we attend to adults in need on consideration.
‎
‎3 After pleading her case I carried out background check on her to know if she actually needs assistance and how does it enhance her daily living.
‎
‎4. Yesterday Thursday 28/08/2025 we proceeded to the woman's house without informing her that we were coming. She was at home weaving artificial hair as she is a hair stylist, despite her condition.
‎
‎5 She was startled to see us carrying wheelchair into her compound,. Her expression melt my soul because if someone is bringing a brand new car to her she couldn't have been more elated
‎
‎6 She began to cry in appreciation because the crutches she had been using were not convenient as such but kept managing it.
‎
‎Well we delivered it.
‎
‎7 It took time to calm her down. She said so SOMEONE CAN STILL REMEMBER HER. She had wanted to buy the wheelchair but had no money. Wheelchair is N170, 000 but had been struggling to get one
‎
‎8. The world we experience daily reveals a lot to learn from if we listen to the plights of others and observe the events around us .But we rarely do because we chase wind and ego at the expense of humanity.
‎
‎9. If something is affordable for you never think it is affordable for others. What you can throw away could determine someone's destiny.
‎
‎10. The focus of Wit and Will Foundation presently iis how over 20 Physically challenged children that are on sponsorship will resume by early next month. However, on behalf of the Foundation I gave her a token of N10,000 for feeding.
‎
‎11. She still needs support because she is building a shop in front of her house where she can attend to customers. She needs support on this. She lives in Sabo, Irojo side.
‎
‎This is the little we can do for humanity ❤️‍🩹
