The National Executive Council under the leadership of Nidsan Idowu Babafemi wishes to formally inform members that a delegation of NIDSA executives paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Member representing Ife Central State Constituency at the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiola Jeremiah Awoyeye.

The visit provided an opportunity for constructive engagement on matters affecting Ife descendant students across institutions.

Discussions centered on student welfare, youth inclusion in governance, educational support initiatives, and the need for sustained collaboration between student leadership and elected representatives.

Hon. Abiola warmly received the delegation and commended the Association for its organizational structure and commitment to responsible representation. He assured the executives of his continuous support for NIDSA and reiterated his readiness to ensure that Ife descendant students remain adequately represented in relevant legislative and developmental conversations.

The Executive Council appreciates the Honourable Member’s openness and positive disposition. We remain committed to fostering strategic partnerships that advance the interests of our members and strengthen the voice of Ife students within Osun State.
