Olusegun Olugbemileke Amore is steadily building a reputation as one of Yewa South’s emerging global professionals, combining strong academic achievement, international exposure, and a growing career in cybersecurity and technology governance.
Born in Ilaro, Ogun State, and raised partly in Owode-Yewa, Olusegun hails from Erinja Orile in the Ilobi-Erinja Ward of Yewa South Local Government Area. He is the son of respected community leaders Chief Ezekiel Atinsola Amore and Chief Mrs. Christiana Oluremi Amore, whose longstanding philanthropic contributions to society have earned them several traditional chieftaincy titles across Yewa Land. Their dedication to community development has made the Amore family widely respected within Ogun State.
Continuing the family’s legacy of excellence, Olusegun has built an impressive international career in technology and cybersecurity. He currently works with Mastercard, a leading multinational financial technology company, where he serves as a Senior Enterprise Operations Engineer and IT Compliance Manager. In this role, he focuses on cybersecurity governance, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and emerging areas such as artificial intelligence security audits. With more than a decade of professional experience across financial services, technology, and consulting, he has become recognized for his expertise in managing cybersecurity risks within global regulatory environments.
Olusegun’s academic journey reflects his global outlook. After completing his early education in Ogun State and earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Crawford University, he proceeded abroad for further studies. He obtained a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, followed by a Master of Science in International Business Management from Griffith College Dublin, Ireland. He also earned a Professional Diploma in Cyber Security from University College Dublin, graduating with Distinction.
His dedication to excellence has brought notable recognition. In 2025, Olusegun achieved a Top 3 global score in the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) examination, a significant accomplishment in the cybersecurity profession. He is also professionally affiliated with the Compliance Institute, Ireland and the Institute of Bankers in Ireland.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Olusegun is known for his passion for community development, youth empowerment, and democratic values.
