The Widow's Might

The Widow's Might This is a page that celebrates the Widows' strength and successes than the pains and dejection.

We believe that there is the Might( God) ready at each point of her journey willing to help her become all that He has created her to be despite her loss.

Relax it's a new month!

There's so much pressure for you to perform and this pressure doesn't necessarily come from outside .
Many times it comes from within .
You've beaten yourself up saying you've not done enough
You had a target at the beginning of the year but it's June now and nothing seems to have added up

Relax, you are not alone because it happens to the best of us.

The scripture in Ecclesiastes 9:11
(NKJV)
"I returned and saw under the sun that—

The race is not to the swift,
Nor the battle to the strong,
Nor bread to the wise,
Nor riches to men of understanding,
Nor favor to men of skill;
But time and chance happen to them all".

I'm not here to ask you to slow down or be complacent, far be from it, I'm just here to announce that your effort only produces result if and when you put your trust in God and God alone

He is the One whom you can trust to put all your eggs in His "basket"

So, while you are at it, keep your focus on He who can bring about that increase that comes with rest.

Take deep breath and exhale .

I leave you with this scripture
1 Peter 5:10
NKJV
But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

Here's to a great month my dear Sister.

It's in you

You don’t need more.
You need to see what’s already in your hands.

Let me remind you about two of my favourite widows in the Bible.

One had nothing but a handful of flour and a little oil.

Famine everywhere.

She was preparing her last meal for herself and her son before they died.

Then a prophet showed up and asked her to bake for him first.

Crazy request, right?
But she did it.

And that act of obedience unlocked a flow of provision that didn’t run dry until the famine ended.

The other widow came to the prophet in tears. Creditors were coming for her two sons. She had nothing to sell. But Elisha asked her, “What do you have in your house?” She said, “Nothing but a jar of oil.” He told her to go borrow empty jars from her neighbors, shut the door, and start pouring. That little jar kept pouring until every jar was full. She sold the oil, paid her debts, and lived on what was leftd
Here’s the truth both stories whisper to us:

*The problem and the solution are two sides of the same coin.*
If you only stare at the problem, you stay stuck. But if you look closely, attentively, you’ll see the flip side.

Your solution is often hiding inside your challenge.

Widow, we’re quick to look outward.
We tell the story.

We show the pain.
We hope someone will see how pathetic it is and throw us a fish.
But that only feeds you for a day.

What if you looked inward instead?

What if you asked, “What do I have in my house?”

What if you took the lemons and made lemonade?

What if you squeezed water out of the stone?

That’s how you stop being the one who needs fish, and become the fisherwoman.

That’s how you stop begging for a seat, and become the owner of the ship.

Strength isn’t pretending the pain isn’t real.

Strength is digging into it and pulling out the seed of what’s next.

You have more in you than your loss has taken out.
Look again.
Look inward.

The answer is already there.

God's Special Being .

God didn’t pick on you. He picked you and that means you are special.

Years ago, after I lost my husband, the first thing I felt was like a victim.
The “Why me?” wasn’t loud, but it was written all over my face.

That “why me” question touches all of us at some point.

It can bring anger, pain, and for some, even hate toward life or toward God.

But looking back now, I see how God guided the path of my life.
There came a point where I actually felt guilty for how far He had brought me, as I can see the progress He has helped me to make .

I don’t know if you’ve felt this too. But I’m here to remind you: God is the Master Transformer, if you let Him.

You weren’t picked by God to be punished for what you did or didn’t do.
You are loved, even in the moments when pain feels real.
He still loves you, even when you mess up.

Don’t let anyone guilt-trip you when you’re learning to forgive, or when it’s time for you to enjoy your life.

So, asy motivation tablet for you today, know these:
You are chosen.
You are loved.
You are special.
