‎AAC IKORODU LGA, Lagos State, HOLDS SUCCESSFUL GENERAL MEETING
‎
‎On Sunday, 2nd August 2026, members of the African Action Congress (AAC), Ikorodu LGA, Lagos State, gathered for a productive General Meeting at Imoshe Close, behind Wema Bank Plc, Ikorodu.
‎
‎The meeting reviewed the progress made since the last general meeting, with particular emphasis on the successful ward meetings held across three wards (Igbogbo 2, Ipakodo and Erikorodo wards) as part of our ongoing grassroots organising efforts.
‎
‎Key resolutions and discussions included:
‎
‎✅ The need to establish a functional party secretariat to strengthen our activities.
‎
‎✅ Proper care and handling of party materials, including flags, banners and other emblems.
‎
‎✅ Mobilisation for the Festival of the Oppressed commemorating the party's 5th anniversary.
‎
‎✅ Continuation of the ward meeting exercise, with the next meeting scheduled for Ipakodo Ward.
‎
‎✅ A cabinet reshuffle, with Comrade Adegoke confirmed as the Party Secretary and Comrade Oriyomi (IBK) assuming the role of Party Treasurer.
‎
‎
‎The meeting reaffirmed AAC Ikorodu's commitment to grassroots mobilisation, internal democracy and building a stronger political alternative for the people.
‎
‎The struggle continues. Together, we organise, mobilise and build the future.
‎

‎The people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku deserve a completed Smart Primary School, clear project timelines, and full accountability for every kobo spent. AAC Ikorodu LGA will continue to monitor this project in the interest of the people.
