Successful Screening of Prospective UTME Candidates for Like Minds of Ikirun Annual Free UTME Forms

Yesterday, the Like Minds of Ikirun successfully conducted the screening of prospective UTME candidates for its annual Free UTME forms initiative. The exercise, which saw a large turnout of eligible students, was marked by orderliness, transparency, and enthusiasm from both participants and organizers.

The leadership of Like Minds of Ikirun extends its heartfelt appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the screening exercise—our moral supporters and financial donors. Your unwavering support continues to make this vision of educational empowerment a reality for many indigent but brilliant students in Ikirun and its environs.

By God's grace, the registration of qualified students for the Free UTME forms will commence tomorrow, Monday, 23rd of February. We remain committed to ensuring that no deserving student is left behind in accessing tertiary education.

Summary of the 6th Year Anniversary of Like Minds of Ikirun(12th December 2025).

Like Minds of Ikirun successfully celebrated its 6th anniversary at the Ikirun Town Hall in a peaceful and impactful event.
Key highlights: The programme started and ended on time, earning praise from our patron, Professor Sunday Owolabi, who noted that the club is gradually eradicating the “African Time” stereotype.
Comrade Babawale Abdulbaki (Vice President & Chairman of the Anniversary Planning Committee) welcomed everyone, explained the club’s history, mission, and vision, and strongly emphasised that the association is completely non-political and exists only to serve the community. He urged parents to encourage their children to join.

Professor Sunday Owolabi delivered an inspiring goodwill message, commending the club’s consistency and punctuality.

Foodstuffs (rice, garri.) were shared to widows, the elderly, and less-privileged families.
The beneficiaries were overjoyed and prayed earnestly for the club and its members.
The Vice President gave the vote of thanks, appreciating members, the patron, guests, and everyone who contributed to the success of the day.

The event ended on a very high note with singing, photographs, reaffirming the unity and community spirit of Like Minds of Ikirun.We look forward to an even greater 7th anniversary, by God’s grace.
