At the end of the sensitisation program, OAF FARM Initiative feel grateful to God and all participants who freqiebtly contributes to the success of its outreach programs.

This outreach at "With God Comprehensive High School" located in Ikire, Osun State, Nigeria is one of many platforms which OAF Farm Initiative see as instrumental in making significant social impact.

Such impacts are expected to be felt by moulding In and Out of School children with knowledge, agricultural skills, and mentorship experiences.

The acquired set of values are expected to help our young champions transform into responsible adults who will take social development and environmental sustainability, especially through agriculture seriously.

The management of OAF Farm Initiative through its founders Kennie Olaoluwa Ojo Abdulrahmon Imran & Yūsuf Sanusi appreciate the management, staff and students of "With God Comprehensive High School" for the turn out.

The management of OAF FARM Initiative also appreciates all well wishers who support the good-will project in cash & kind.

We continue to hold your support in high esteem and pray for more blessings.

As part of the passionate movement, OAF Farm Initiative targets another set of future leaders.
It might be your neighbourhood next. 😉🤗

Nurturing of young leaders also entails counselling.

The counselling is necessary to ensure that young children being prepared for the future are in the right frame of mind and prepared for the future.

It remains a key strategy deployed by OAF FARM Initiative when mentoring In and Out of schooling children during mentorship sessions.

As contained in this clip, one of our lead facilitators at OAF Farm Initiative Yūsuf Sanusi using the avenue to inspire the attentive students with various necessary life experiences.

We believe this kind of strategy and more are necessary in inspiring greatness in children who can grow up into responsible adults.

Adults that can contribute to social growth and development, especially through agriculture.

We at OAF FARM Initiative believe strongly in catching children young.

It goes beyond instructing children, but importantly, changing their mindset by planting in them important life principles that will make them think, see, and behave better.

This is why in our mentorship sessions, we take time to have heart-to-heart discussions with our young mentees.

We address them in a friendly, simple, respectful, and impactful manner just like one of our co-founders Abdulrahmon Imran did the attached clip.
We also give them room to ask questions, seek guidance, and assistance in area of needs.

This aspect of our mentorship is important because it serves as the foundation and template for other productive things to be inspired and grow from.

As commonly said that a fertile mind is a productive mind.
OAF Farm Initiative believes and continues to invest in the sensitisation and skill empowerment of young children who will grow into adults that fan contribute meaningfully to food security in Nigeria and Africa at large.

It's a delightful experience seeing impacts being made through the OAF OAF FARM Initiative. 🤗

Our aim is not just to encourage young children into agriculture, but most importantly, sow a seed of environmental and social consciousness in them.

At OAF Farm Initiative, we passionately believe that children are important to social sustainability.

This can be achieved by equipping them with the right orientation, knowledge, and skills they can grow with.

Such skills and knowledge can inspire in them beneficial attitudes towards the environment and humanity at large.

Typical example are the two pictures attached to this post.

Frame 1 shows a participant of the OAF Farm Initiative during an outreach program at "With God Comprehensive High School", located in Ikire, Osun State, Nigeria. 🇳🇬

Just like the rest of his vibrant peers, the mentee by the name Daniel learnt how to set-up home garden vegetable using common domestic items.

Frame 2 shows the same Daniel a few weeks later at home in his parent's backyard.
Daniel has successfully set-up his vegetable farm on a small piece of land, which are nearing maturity for harvesting.

This is one of the many exciting experiences & potentials young children have to offer the society.
It can only be possible if the society see it as a necessary responsibility to equip these children with the right skills and knowledge to explore their potentials.

At OAF FARM Initiative, we see it as a core responsibility for social sustainability in equipping young children who are In and Out of the school system.

We see it as a passion to give these children beneficial agricultural and social knowledge, as well as skills that would make them contribute to social growth and development, especially through agriculture.

As future leaders, OAF Farm Initiative believe every child has something important to offer.

In exposing children to practical experiences, we can't overrule the importance of classroom orientation.

For many reasons, this has proven as an important learning avenue for many students at different levels.

In a bid to aid practical learning experiences, we at OAF FARM Initiative ensure we create a soft landing sessions for our mentees.

Such sessions are meant to prepare the minds of the In and Out of school children about what to expected on the field and how to manage the realities they're exposed to.

This strategy has overtime proved very effective in many of our mentorship projects with selected school children during our training programs.

As you can see in the attached pictures, the students are paying rapt attention to the mentoring session of Abdulrahmon Imran, Kennie Olaoluwa Ojo, & Yūsuf Sanusi , who are the lead facilitators at OAF FARM Initiative.

The sessions with the children and school teachers have proved very effective.
This we easily assess from the reactions and feedbacks as questions during the interactive and friendly sessions of the program.

OAF Farm Initiative is a project that believes that achieving food security, especially in developing countries requires due orientation about the food process.

This can be achieved by sensitising children about the responsibilities at hand.

And because children are an important part of our vast societies, we believe equipping them with basic food production knowledge & skills like vegetable garden is highly crucial.

We believe this can go along way in sensitising other members of the society, especially their parents & guardians about commitment towards food security from the home front.

At OAF Farm Initiative, we remain committed towards ensuring food security through sensitisation of In and Out of School children, using important social and agricultural knowledge.

Because children are highly adventurous by nature, it is important to understand that the attention of children is best stimulated with physical experiences than abstract experiences.

This is why one of our key strategies at OAF FARM Initiative in mentoring children is to use physical activities & experiences to capture the interest of In and Out of children participating in our mentoring programs.

Kids love to touch. They love to explore. They can be restless. They are known to be inquisitive.

We use these traits as an opportunity to introduce them to things they can actually see, touch, feel, and manipulate to make impact.

Just as seen in the attached pictures, these are some of the In and Out school children participating in a physical excerise.

The physical excerise entails the cultivation of backyard vegetables using common materials around them.

Some of such common materials like used car tyres, broken buckets, etc are considered as wastes.
However, to these vibrant kids, they have now been thought how to convert these wastes into beneficial materials for cheap food production.

Isn't that awesome? 😊

I'm sure you can also imagine how great a value that is in the lives of these kids.

This is part of our mission at OAF Initiative - to inspire productivity in kids through agriculture and also environmental consciousness through recycling.

We will continue to keep you updated about the wonderful things our young leaders are doing though OAF Initiative projects.

Stay tuned. 😉🤗
