Goge Africa Foundation

Goge Africa Foundation GAF is a youth-based educational foundation with a special interest in the development of the African youth.

Goge Africa Foundation was established in 2004 by the founders and producers of the award winning culture and tourism TV programme - GOGE AFRICA. It is an educational foundation that teaches African youths the history and heritage of our continent. Through the foundation, we hope to empower the young people of Africa to build and sustain a strong economy for our continent. Largely a part of Goge A

frica’s Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, the Foundation aims to inspire progress in Young minds of the African Continent by providing the African Youth with a platform to re-connect and re-discover their culture, their people and their heritage. This objective is targeted towards debunking any psychological displacement of self which may have escorted the demise of colonial power in Africa. GAF also creates awareness about social ills like HIV/AIDS, child abuse, child labour and youth trafficking, while catering to the needs of the less privileged in the society. Our annual Christmas project leads a delegation to Modupe Cole School for Disabled children each year to donate food and daily resources. The Goge Africa Foundation has also been invited to speak to the African American student body of some universities in the USA, lecturing the youths about their African cultural heritage.

Africa's history is rich with stories of remarkable women who led with courage, wisdom, and strength.

From Queen Amina's military brilliance to Queen Nzinga's resilience, Yaa Asantewaa's bravery, and Queen Idia's influence, these women left legacies that continue to inspire generations.

It is important we educate our children about the leaders who helped shape Africa's past and continue to inspire its future.

This Democracy Day, we reflect on the Nigeria our children are growing up in and the Nigeria they deserve.

Every child deserves to feel safe, be heard, learn, and dream without limits.

As we mark this day, may we continue to build a nation that puts the wellbeing of its children at the heart of its progress.

A child’s voice, but a message no one should ignore.

Children are neither unaware, nor “too young to understand”. They are watching, feeling, and speaking up on issues shaping their future. This is a passionate appeal to the authorities.

At GAF, we stand firmly on one belief: every child deserves to be safe, protected, and empowered while learning and embracing their culture.

When children begin to raise their voices about the state of their nation, it is a reminder that action can no longer be delayed.
