Weekend Reflections

A humble spirit reflects modesty, self-awareness, and an appreciation for the perspectives and contribution of others. In self-awareness, individuals with a humble spirit understand their strengths and weaknesses.
They do not overestimate their abilities or underestimate the challenges they face. This shows how well you accept constructive criticism and learn from your mistakes without being defensive.
To corroborate these facts stated earlier, it shows, and its always evident in their show of gratitude and acknowledgement of their success but often attribute them to the support of others, hard work and luck rather than solely to their own efforts. That's to say, most times, without the aforementioned traits, some individuals won't smell success.

Let's learn to be humble, especially when we feel we have arrived. Humility is a fantastic virtue and higher power that trims unnecessary ego's.

Heavenly Father,

As I stand on the threshold of this new year, I come before you with a heart full of gratitude for the blessings and guidance you have given me in the past. As I look ahead, I seek your grace and wisdom for the journey that lies before me.

Grant me the strength to let go of the burdens of the past year, to release any regrets or resentments, and to forgive those who have caused me pain. Help me to approach this new year with a spirit of hope and renewal, knowing that you offer me the opportunity for a fresh start.

Guide me in setting intentions for the year ahead, that they may be aligned with your will for my life. Grant me clarity of vision and purpose, and help me to discern the path that leads me closer to you. May my goals and aspirations be driven by love, compassion, and a desire to serve others.

Grant me the courage to face the challenges and uncertainties of the year ahead, knowing that you are with me every step of the way. Help me to trust in your plan for my life, even when I cannot see the way forward. Give me the faith to persevere in times of trial and the humility to seek your guidance when I am uncertain.

As I embark on this new year, I ask for your protection and provision. Surround me with your love and shield me from harm. Provide me with the resources I need to fulfill my purpose and empower me to be a source of light and hope for others.

Grant me the wisdom to make good choices and the discernment to recognize those opportunities that are in alignment with your divine plan. Help me to grow in knowledge and understanding, and to use my gifts and talents to make a positive impact in the world.
