On the 3rd of July, we had our official handover from the Hope year to the year we are being charged to share the MAGIC of ROTARY.
As part of our activities to support the Maternal and Child Health through the month of July. On the 11th Day of July, in commemoration of World Population Day; I was live on Jordan 105.5 FM at 9:30a.m where I spoke on the Club activities to support young vulnerable mothers and their babies through the month of July and beyond.
On 13th of July, 2024, the Club had representatives at the Pioneer District Governor’s Installation held at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
On the 21st of July, we participated in the Coastal Restoration Initiative as sponsors in the Silver Category. We joined in the planting of the first batch of the proposed One thousand 1,000 coconut seedlings in furtherance of Rotary International Seventh Area of focus on “Supporting the Environment”
We are optimistic that our activities on that day will in no small way contribute to the Rotary District 9112, Tree Planting Committee’s vision of working to achieve a safer and cleaner environment through sustainable actions and resolute commitment to Rotary Ideals of Service.
On the last day in the month of July, we had our Club assembly. Typically in Rotary, the Club Assembly is a gathering of Club members designed to discuss, plan, and evaluate club activities and initiatives. These gatherings encourage active participation from all members, promoting a sense of belonging and commitment to the club’s mission and activities.
This is to say a very BIG THANK YOU to everyone who have consistently supported this journey by participating actively in all activities. Thank you for your time and passion. It is inspiring to see such dedication to our mission, especially when the work we do is a voluntary one for the betterment of our community.
When I look at the trajectory of our Club this Rotary year, I cannot but be very grateful to God for blessing our Club with dedicated members whose commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to engage in meaningful discussions is infectious.
The insights and ideas we are sharing this season will undoubtedly guide us as a Club through the course of this Rotary year and of course in our future endeavors as a Club.
Thank you all for an Amazing month of July. The month of August holds more for us.
Together, we are making a difference!
