LETTER OF APPEAL AND ADVICE TO THE CHAIRMAN OF IKARA LOCAL GOVERNMENT, HON. BASHIR MAMMAN DOGON-KOLI.
With due respect, the civilized good people of Ikara Local Government Area and its surroundings especially the communities of Hayin Maje, Kwasallawa, Hayin Malam Garba, Hayin Gwani and Ikara ward are jointly calling and appealing to the Chairman of Ikara local government, Hon. Bashir Mamman Dogon-koli, regarding two issues they believe arise from the way the government has implemented the allocation of government land within the area. This involves plots carved out around government residential buildings located among three to four neighborhoods, which has led to the blockage of access roads as a result of the land division.
In summary, the people of these areas are requesting the following things:
1. They appeal to the government to address this situation by reopening access to Abdullahi Adamu Model Primary School, Ikara [A.A Model/Gidigo], so that there is a proper and safe route in to the school for the security and well-being of their children's.
2. They also propose improvement to the ICT Center established by the Chairman of Ikara local government, Hon. Bashir Mamman Dogon-koli. Specifically, they request the creation of a proper access route and surroundings for the center, to accommodate visitors and vehicles such as Bicycles, Motorcycles, and Cars. Additionally, they suggest enhancing security at this important facility by opening the newly constructed fence between KADVIS office and the nearby building, giving the ICT Center a better frontage, and installing a gate along with a guard house to strengthen security.
It is hoped that the Chairman of Ikara local government will consider these suggestions and the needs of the people.
