During a courtesy visit to the Awujale's Palace and the Ojude Oba Pavilion, Ijebu Ode, I greeted Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, the Ogun State PDP Governorship Candidate, as well as party officials, candidates, and stakeholders to the Ijebu Traditional Council yesterday. The delegation included House of Representatives candidates Hon. Wale Ogunbanjo and Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole (ABO), House of Assembly candidates for Ijebu Ode, Ijebu North East, Ijebu North, and Odogbolu State Constituencies, members of the State Working Committee led by Deputy State Chairman Chief Abiodun Ogunremi, party elders, and other stakeholders.

The visit demonstrated the PDP's great regard for traditional institutions and underlined the party's commitment to supporting peace, inclusive governance, cultural values, and long-term development throughout Ogun East and Ogun State.

On Friday the 26th of June, I joined the Ogun PDP Governorship Candidate, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, the Ogun West Senatorial Candidate, Hon. Babatunde Ogunlola, House of Representatives and House of Assembly candidates, alongside party stakeholders, on a strategic consultation visit to the Akarigbo of Remoland, His Royal Highness, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, Torungbuwa II and his Council of Chiefs, in Sagamu.

The engagement reaffirmed the PDP's commitment to working with traditional institutions in advancing peace, unity, and sustainable development across Ogun State.

Today, I joined our Governorship Candidate, Chief Oladipupo Adebutu, the PDP Senatorial Candidate for Ogun Central, Mrs Iyabo Obasanjo, and other PDP candidates on a courtesy visit to former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

Yesterday, I accepted our great party, PDP's nomination to be their flagbearer for Ogun East Senatorial District.

I thank all party stakeholders who were present at yesterday's peaceful primaries held at the Adeola Odutola Hall, Ijebu-Ode.

I am deeply honoured by the trust and confidence our party and our people have placed in me. I do not take this responsibility lightly. This election is not about one man. It is about the future of Ogun East. It is about building a Senatorial District where every community feels heard, respected, included, and represented.
