We are dedicated to mobilising Ijebu youths in support of agitation for the creation of Ijebu State from the old Ijebu Province, with Ijebu-Ode as its capital.

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, Chief Olufunmilola Okunowo, the Bobashua of Ijebuland and Chairman of the Implementation Committee for the Creation of Ijebu State, led the Ijebu delegation to the South West Zone public hearing in Lagos. The event, organised by the Federal House of Representatives Committee reviewing the 1999 Constitution, featured the presentation of a memorandum advocating for the creation of Ijebu State from the old Ijebu Province, with Ijebu-Ode proposed as the state capital.

On 19th Saturday July 2025, the Convener of Ijebu Youth March for New State - IYMNS, Comrade Akeem Akilo joined a delegation from Ijebuland to attend the South West Zone public hearing in Lagos. This hearing was organised by the Federal House of Representatives Committee reviewing the 1999 Constitution.

The delegation, led by the Bobashua of Ijebuland and Chairman of the Implementation Committee for the Creation of Ijebu State, Chief Olufunmilola Okunowo, presented a memorandum. The delegation presented a memorandum proposing the creation of Ijebu State from the old Ijebu Province, with Ijebu-Ode as its capital to the Federal House of Representatives Committee reviewing the 1999 Constitution.
