President Commissions Income-Generating Edifice Built by Idomowo Branch
The National President of Al-Hayat Relief Foundation, Engr. Sikirulahi Omotayo Adeko, has commissioned a newly completed storey building constructed by the Idomowo Branch of the Foundation as part of its efforts to generate sustainable income for the branch.
The commissioning ceremony, held in a modest and memorable gathering, brought together members, past leaders, community stakeholders and representatives of the Foundation’s leadership to celebrate the milestone achievement.
In his welcome address, the Chairman of the Idomowo Branch, Alhaji Solihu Moruffdeen, expressed gratitude to Allah for His mercy and blessings upon the branch. He appreciated members of the branch for their commitment, support and contributions towards the successful completion of the project.
He described the new edifice as a testament to the development taking place within the branch, noting that the project represents the collective efforts, dedication and vision of the branch’s leadership and members.
Alhaji Moruffdeen particularly appreciated the National Executive Council (NEC) and the National President for their support and encouragement, which he said contributed significantly to the achievement.
The immediate past National President of the Foundation and former Chairman of the Idomowo Branch, Dr. Asif Azeez, also expressed delight over the achievement. He commended the branch for what he described as a giant stride and encouraged other branches to emulate the initiative by embarking on sustainable projects that can strengthen their financial capacity and contribute to the development of the Foundation.
Also present at the occasion was the Zonal Vice President of the Ijebu Ode Zone, Mr. Tanimowo Lukman, the Publicity and Education Officer, Otunba Lukman Nola, the General Manager, Mr. Raimi Waidi and Alhaji Taofeek Olotufoore, the National Treasurer
The Chief Eketa Adinni of Ijebuland, Shaykh AbdulWahhab Oleolo, who is also an Associate Member of the branch, graced the occasion and offered prayers for continued growth and development of the branch.
In his remarks, Shaykh Oleolo prayed for more remarkable achievements for the branch and urged Al-Hayat Relief Foundation to remain steadfast in its mission of supporting the economic upliftment and welfare of Muslims across Ijebuland.
The event was also attended by several past Chairmen of the Idomowo Branch, alongside members and other stakeholders who joined in celebrating the milestone.
The newly commissioned edifice stands as another testament to the commitment of Al-Hayat Relief Foundation branches towards developing sustainable income-generating assets while advancing the Foundation’s broader mission of community development and Muslim welfare.
