ما ماتَ مَن سَقَى الترابَ بمهجتِهِ،
بل عاشَ في الأرواحِ طولَ زمانِ.
الشهداءُ نورٌ لا يُواريهِ الثرى،
يبقى يضيءُ دروبَ كلِّ أمانِ.
والأولياءُ إذا غابوا بأجسادِهم،
فذِكرُهمُ باقٍ بكلِّ مكانِ.
في قلبِ كلِّ محبٍّ لهمُ وطنٌ،
وفي الدعاءِ لهم أسمى المعاني.
فالعمرُ ليسَ بطولِ أيّامِ الفتى،
بل بالأثرِ الباقي مدى الأزمانِ.
