📚 Nurturing a New Generation of Readers!
The Boigedacha Literary Initiative Team was honoured to be invited to the 2026 Valedictory Service and End-of-Session Graduation Ceremony of Covenant Treasures International School on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
As part of the programme, we took an exciting step towards establishing the Boigedacha Readers’ Club in the school. We organised a short reading competition to introduce the students to the vision and objectives of the club.
One particular moment deeply reinforced why this initiative is so important. A student experienced stage fright while reading before the audience, reminding us that the Readers’ Club is about much more than simply reading books. It is also an avenue to build confidence, communication skills, vocabulary, self-expression, and the courage to speak before others.
We are delighted that, although participation in the Readers’ Club will be voluntary, the school principal has agreed to embrace a reading culture across the entire school. Reading activities will also be incorporated into the students’ timetable.
This is a significant step towards raising confident readers, articulate speakers, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners. 📖✨
At Boigedacha Literary Initiative, we remain committed to promoting a culture of reading and creating opportunities for children and young people to discover the power that lies within the pages of a book.
Together, we are not just encouraging children to read—we are helping to shape confident voices and brighter futures.
