Shape the Future of Youth in Agriculture in Nigeria. It's Time!!!

"To Every Young Voice Driving Nigeria’s Agricultural Revolution"

Are you a young person in agriculture or someone actively supporting youth-led agribusiness?

Here is your chance to shape the national conversation!

The Leonard & Nkiruka Okonkwo Foundation (LANOF), in collaboration with the Heinrich Böll Foundation (HBF) and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (FMAFS) through its Gender Unit, Special Duties Department, warmly invite you to participate in the Review of the National Youth Manifesto in Agriculture for Nigeria and contribute to the development of a bold National Youth Agribusiness Call to Action in line with African Union Youth Agribusiness Call to Action.

The Nigerian Youth Manifesto seeks to reflect the real experiences, priorities, and aspirations of young people in agriculture. It aims to influence national policy by demanding better access to land, finance, knowledge, markets, and climate-resilient technologies—while amplifying youth leadership in transforming Nigeria’s food and agriculture systems.

Your voice is critical to making this vision a reality!

What’s in it for you?
1. Make your voice count - contribute to the shaping of youth-centered agricultural policy and programmes.

2. Register to attend the Hybrid Validation Bootcamp in Abuja and Via Zoom on Thursday, July 31, 9AM–5PM → https://tinyurl.com/YouthAgricManifest

3. Participate in the Official Launch of the revised Manifesto and Call to Action during the National Youth Agribusiness Forum on August 12 in Abuja.

4. Be recognized - your name will be listed in the National Database for future engagement and implementation of the Manifesto.

Lets get it right together!

We need your insights! The survey below is designed to gather youth perceptions, challenges, opportunities, and demands in the agricultural sector.

It takes less than 7 minutes and will directly inform the revised Manifesto: 👉 https://ee.kobotoolbox.org/x/kWur8xit

"Spread the word - every young person in agriculture deserves to be heard!"
