A Life of Faith, Sacrifice, and Good Deeds
The burial ceremony of Mrs. Victoria Omowola Oyewusi (née Ajisebiyawo Ojo), who passed on Tuesday, 6th January 2026, was buried on Saturday, 17th January 2026, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Ibokun, under the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo, Osun State.
The solemn service was a period of deep reflection on life and the need to live rightly. In his sermon, Reverend Father Paul Akintayo Akinyode spoke passionately about the importance of good deeds and their relevance in God’s kingdom.
Several dignitaries from within Nigeria and the diaspora were in attendance to sympathize and felicitate with the Oyewusi family during the ceremony.
After the service, Otunba Toyin Oyewusi delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone present. In an emotional moment of reflection, he spoke about the sacrifices and tireless efforts of their late mother, who endured much to ensure the survival and success of her children.
Mrs. Victoria Omowola Oyewusi was finally laid to rest at her residence, committing her soul to eternal glory.
As we celebrate a life well lived, we pray that her soul rests in perfect peace.
