Many young girls silently battle feelings of inferiority caused by comparison, rejection, bullying, societal pressure, and even negative words spoken at home. Words are powerful — they can either build a child’s confidence or slowly destroy their self-worth.
As parents, guardians, and society at large, we must become intentional about the way we speak to our girls. Constant criticism, unhealthy comparisons, insults, and discouraging statements can leave deep emotional wounds that affect their confidence and future.
