During the May, 2026 outreach at Oja Oba, Ibadan South-East Local Government Area, I met Alhaja Ola Mummy, a successful entrepreneur who deals in plastic products, kitchen utensils, and other household items. During our conversation, I asked whether her business was listed on Google Business Profile, and she informed me that it was not.

As an entrepreneur, she immediately saw the value of having an online presence when I introduced her to Google Business Profile and explained its benefits. I am pleased to say that her business is now live on Google.

This is one of the many small but meaningful impacts we make during our outreach activities as Digital Literacy Champions (DLCs), helping local business owners embrace digital tools and expand their visibility.

Thank you Champion Oke Paul (Head of School Adoption)

One of the highlights of our outreach was the interactive training session, where our dedicated trainers worked closely with participants from the informal sector to build practical digital skills and confidence.

From introducing essential digital tools to sharing everyday technology tips, the session reflected the power of knowledge sharing and community collaboration.
Every lesson learned is a step toward greater opportunity and economic empowerment.
