Our hearts are heavy over the tragic kidnapping of children and teachers in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, and the reported killing of a teacher. No child should live in fear and no teacher should lose their life while helping to shape the future of young people.

We stand with the affected children, families, teachers, and communities during this painful time. We call for stronger protection of schools and urgent action to ensure the safe return of every child still in captivity.
