AOF SUPPORTS SOUTH WEST DEAF CULTURE AND ARTS FESTIVAL

The Adeniyi Oyebade Foundation (AOF) is pleased to support the South West Deaf Culture and Arts Festival with two bags of rice and one keg of vegetable oil.

This support is provided in respect of our non-financial partnership engagements, which are consistent with the Foundation’s current priorities and commitment to strengthening collaboration within the Deaf community.

AOF remains committed to promoting Deaf inclusion, community development, solidarity, and empowerment.

We appreciate the organisers of the South West Deaf Festival for creating a platform that promotes unity, culture, connection, and shared experiences among members of the Deaf community.

World Hepatitis Day | 28 July 2026

Today, the Adeniyi Oyebade Foundation (AOF) joins the global community in raising awareness about hepatitis, a preventable and treatable disease that continues to affect millions of people worldwide.

Hepatitis can be silent, but early testing, vaccination (where available), and timely treatment can save lives. Knowing your status is the first step toward protecting yourself, your family, and your community.

At AOF, we are committed to promoting inclusive health awareness and ensuring that Deaf persons, women, youth, and other vulnerable groups have equal access to life-saving health information and services.

📍 AOF School Tour Continues in Oyo State

The Adeniyi Oyebade Foundation (AOF) successfully resumed its Menstrual Hygiene School Outreach in Oyo State, reaching Deaf girls at Ijokodo High School and Ibadan Municipal Government (IMG) Grammar School, Ibadan.

During the outreach, Deaf girls received practical education on menstrual hygiene, personal cleanliness, the proper use and disposal of sanitary pads, and the importance of seeking support when faced with menstrual health challenges. Each participant received a sanitary pad pack, detergent, biscuits, and a soft drink.

This outreach was initially put on hold out of respect following the abduction of pupils and staff of a primary school in Oyo State. We give thanks to God for their safe release and are grateful to continue this important initiative.

This initiative was lead by Mr. Abiodun Kolawole the AOF Head of Operation alongside with the Team, volunteers, teachers and some staff from the state ministry of education.

AOF remains committed to empowering Deaf girls with the knowledge, confidence, and essential hygiene materials they need to manage their menstrual health with dignity.

The Adeniyi Oyebade Foundation (AOF) is proud to officially launch the Deaf Business Empowerment Grant Programme.

This initiative reflects our commitment to creating economic opportunities for Deaf entrepreneurs and building stronger, more inclusive communities across Nigeria.

Through Transparency selected processes some individuals are set to receive business grants, mentorship, business tools, and continuous post-grant support to strengthen their businesses and promote financial independence.

The Adeniyi Oyebade Foundation (AOF) is proud to Launch the National Scholarships & Quiz Competition for Deaf students in selected secondary schools across Oyo State.

This initiative is designed to encourage academic excellence, build confidence, promote healthy competition, and reward outstanding performance among Deaf students.

Breaking Barriers Through Football

As part of the official launch of the Adeniyi Oyebade Foundation (AOF) and the National Scholarship Scheme, we are proud to present the AOF Deaf Unity Cup 2026.

This football competition is more than a tournament. It is a platform to showcase the incredible talents, determination, and resilience of Deaf athletes in some part of Nigeria. Through sports, we are promoting inclusion, unity, equal opportunities, and breaking societal barriers faced by persons with disabilities.

Eight outstanding teams will compete, demonstrating that disability is never an inability. We invite everyone to come and support these talented athletes as they inspire a more inclusive society.

Together, let's celebrate ability, create opportunities, and build a future where every Deaf individual has the chance to thrive.

The Adeniyi Oyebade Foundation (AOF) is proud to announce the AOF Deaf Unity Cup 2026 alongside the National Scholarship Launch a life-changing initiative dedicated to empowering Deaf individuals through sports, education, entrepreneurship, and advocacy.

From September 19–23, 2026, we will bring together Deaf talents in some part of Nigeria for:
1. Deaf Football Competition
2. National Scholarships for Deaf Students
3. Deaf Women Empowerment & Business Support
4. Quiz Competition for Deaf Students

Theme: Breaking Barriers, Building Hope: Empowering Deaf Individuals Through Education, Scholarships, Mentorship, and Advocacy.
